Hello everyone! My name is Alyssa. I am married to my best friend, Mack. We have two very active boys, James & Luke. Our lives consist of dinosaurs, super heroes, and lots of outdoor adventures. I definitely use cleaning and organizing as a way to decompress and release stress. Having a clean home and making it beautiful with decor helps me to be fully present as a mom and a wife. I love all things cleaning and organizing and am so excited to share it with everyone who needs a little motivation in their lives. Could not agree more. I’ve never cleaned in a nice outfit and hair and make up done. No, I sweat my butt off and I’m in lounge clothes or even PJ’s. I’ve watched a channel where her hair was long and down- she was cleaning the toilet and her hair touched the dirty toilet…barf
Yes! Pajamas and junk clothes are in order when you are ready to be super productive. But I do know everyone is different and it can be motivating for some to get dressed fully in the morning in order to be productive. As long as it works 😊 I hope you have the best day!

Awe! How awesome you got a deal on a new Dyson! I've always wanted a Dyson but I could never justify the prices lol . Even though my Tineco costed me as much as a Dyson anyway 😂. Maybe one day. And the wet dry vacuum I want too! Ugh!!! I need to win the lotto hahaha! Awesome video my friend! ❤❤❤
They work really well but the price is very steep! I don’t know if the new one would have been worth it unless you are trying to film satisfying shorts with close up shots of the floor 😂 The older model worked just as good and had better parts. A cordless wet/dry vacuum would be cool! I see Tineco everywhere and they look super nice!!!! The lotto would be amazing haha! Thank you friend! Have a great weekend! ❤️❤️❤️

Just wanted to throw out there that For Days has an amazing textile recycling program…you buy a huge bag with shipping included, fill it, send it back (super easy, I promise!), and get the original price you spent on the bag back in store credit. Not being paid to say all this just really love that program!
Wow thank you for this fantastic clean and declutter motivation again ! I was just a bit saddened when you've mentionned that you've discarded clothes in the laudry room trash can when you were emptying it as I wish it would have been done on camera just like you've did for the rest of the declutter as it's the things I struggle the most to discard along with magazines, fashion/beauty catalogues/flyers. But still super satisfying to see all that process and the result. 😇
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed the video. Paper clutter is a hard one to film! It’s either sensitive information that I can’t share on here or we use the paper to start fires for camping or grilling.
@@AlyssaAnn-54 I totally understand that and the llast thing I want is to get you in trouble by showing personnal informations just to help someone getting rid of clutter haha. As I only struggle to toss nicer paper clutter, I think it's mostly some magazine where the adress is often on the cover that might be problematic. Don't do extra steps for me, I just always hope the things I struggle to toss arn't discarded off camera like the clothes in that one. Even just when you've emptied the laundry room trash can, I was hoping it would have been done at normal speed and from slightly further just so it would last more than 0.5 second and maybe I'll at least seen some clothes through the bag 😅 For the fire, I'm wondering what's the hardest for me between tossing a magazine/catalogue in the trash or in the fire haha at least the fire have a purpose, but I feel it might be more painfull to watch than just dump it in the bin and don't look back 😄
Mine like using my Bona mop. Many times i have to remind them to wipe the floor again, but with no cleaner. I actually got my oldest (8) to clean their toilet. I got the clorox toilet wand thing. I dont have to worry about them opening the other toilet bowl cleaner and squirting it everywhere. It works great. They also use the Seventh Generation cleaning wipes to wipe down their bathroom counter. I also started having them start their laundry with supervision right now. Mine (6 and 8) love to clean windows. I find that one super random.
I love that they enjoy mopping and windows! The 7th generation wipes sound like a good idea. I like the tips about making bathroom cleaning less messy. Great job including them in so many chores! That’s awesome!!!!
I have little rechargeable fans for the back seats in our car for my boys. They help with motion sickness as well, keeping air on them. I haven't the misting ones, and now I think that will be a required purchase.
Our lab didn't like water until around 2 years. But we also took her white water rafting and stuff. But I would imagine his like of water will kick in a little later.

Good morning, Alyssa! I'm here watching before I head to work. I have a quick question... what kind of mic do you use for your voiceovers? You always sound great when you speak. I think you use a camera to film with if I'm not mistaken though. I use my phone, but I recently got a new phone where I can now get a mic that the adapter thingie can now stay in the port to connect to the mic (my old phone charging port was not working for a long time so I couldn't use a mic). If you do know of a good but not too pricey mic that can be used for filming with phones, I'd appreciate it if you could share with me. I don't want to invest in a camera right now... I'd like to wait until I hit 1000 subs and 4000 watch hours (if that ever does actually happen lol 😅). Thanks so much, friend! I am loving all the videos! Keep them coming! ❤❤❤
Hope you have a good day at work! I use my phone to record right now because cameras are expensive. Hopefully, I can slowly upgrade the quality of my videos as time goes on. I use CapCut to edit the clips and use their voiceover option and just talk directly into the phone. It works best if you talk in longer segments so it’s less choppy.
Omg really? I thought you used an actual camera all this time because the quality is beautiful! I also use capcut to edit and I use the voice thing there as well. Maybe I need to talk closer to the phone. I do talk pretty close to the phone when I do talk, but like I said my old phone had issues so that could be one of them as well as the other things. I also will turn the volume of my voice up when editing in capcut . Sometimes when I watch the video to review, as you do, it sounds low still. But I will try doing my same routine with this new phone and see if that makes a difference.. I'll also speak as close to the phone as possible and see. Thank you so much for all your advice. It's actually nice to know that we do the same thing as far as filming and editing. Appreciate you so much! ❤❤❤
I’m so happy you think it sounds good. I like CapCut but voiceovers are hard! I found talking close to the phone in longer segments is best. But overall, I think making sure the music volume matches the volume of your voice is the most important. 😊 That’s what I’ve gathered from comments on other similar channels.

Instead of keeping an assortment or tossing out throw pricey pillows, I found a great idea to just buy or make COVERS! Saves sooo much space and easy to switch out!
That’s definitely the better option! I bought all my living room pillow covers off of Amazon so I can change them out and should have done the same in bedrooms too.
