How do you even react to so much stuff? Is there a pattern to the enemies, like they counter-block after X hit? I've been playing for 30+ hours and some enemies feel totally random, where only your reaction time can save you. What am I missing?
very impressive when you can make it look so easy when playing on Hard mode. I have been swearing hard at this game for making gameplay so difficult which looked like hard mode is impossible to complete - but here you shown me otherwise.
To be fair, the second phase isn't that difficult to get through once you've figured out the boss' attack pattern. (As well as how to dodge everything.) The same can't be said for the third phase. 💥
That is INSANE. And such a gamble too, honestly. Sometimes you try to strike an enemy like 2 frames after he attacks, and it feels like you'll actually outstrike him, but then Batman decides to do like a ballerina flip of an attack instead of the fucking simple punch
I play arkham origins but yeah. it happens so often, i play with Bruce wayne and he have this Ninja roll flying kick thing which is cool but its daam slow and i always get hit due the attack duration. Its crazy how Robin/Deathstroke Have way more s attacks and faster than batman
Kinda crazy this got recommended to me on Christmas Eve which makes sense since I’ve been getting back into the Arkham games and this game is during Christmas Eve well anyway Merry Christmas everyone and of course “The Batman”
I know it is late, but this does not work. As soon as I enter Bowery or Inustrial District the CIP just triggers there right away before I have the chance to re-enter Sheldon Park. I tried it for over an hour with always the same result.
It will eventually, it hasn't been patched since then. As mentioned in (2) make sure you beat them up and clear the CIP when it triggers elsewhere so it saves, then menu and return
@@Fleaker I turned down the console and started the game again and now it works! I dunno if I did something wrong before or if the game was just bugged. Anyway, I got it now. Thank you!
2003 one are much better, 2022 make everything come too fast and make too much that you cant enjoy it taste...and i dont like the new R-type make poor story line
Just worked it out how to kill it early... Use Leo 2 and the red lasers with 2 side force pods. Keep pulsing the charge and the homing array from the side force pods will hit the boss automatically. Just spent 4 solid hours trying every other way possible and this is the only one that worked on Leo 2 second attempt but only with that red laser and the side force pods. The Leo 2 ship red laser is handy as its a single beam constant firing when not pulsing. It finished the boss off very early on.
If only we could get a MP3 file in the description of the announcer saying " check mate. wealth and glory to the winner " without music. I would set that as my ring tone so quick or use it on Twitch.
What stage is this??? I have both final 2 and 3 and all DLCs and I believe I finished every stage and every variation but I never seen this stage before lol
It's the most recently added stage. Start a new game and you will find a Junction splitter on stage 3 right before the boss (similar to stage 5). From top to bottom, pick the 2nd or 4th crystal. There's also a new stage R2.0 under 'Competition' in the main menu that came with this patch too.
Use Leo 2 with the constant red laser and use the borders of the screen to give you distance from the boss. Edge towards each corner of the screen whilst monitoring the rocks. This boss was pure hell on Earth. I have been playing R-type all my life and have some super rare items. This is one of the hardest bosses I have ever encountered. Use the top left edge of the screen the moment the @hole arrives and then go in a square pattern following the edge of the screen , It will give you distance. Make shore you do it so it gives you enough time and a gap to avoid the rocks. Another thing I did was to use a faster speed of the R Leo ship. It gives you a slight advantage being under water. Remember the boss is dumb and will only follow where You go. Use this to Your advanatge. Good luck.
When I got to this room the first time, Batman didn't say anything about it being impossible so I thought this was another room I had to deal with before I moved on. I did this on my first try (normal mode), but I was one shot away from dying so it wasn't pretty. I essentially spammed batarangs everytime someone tried to shoot me. I wasn't good at comboing his different gadgets at the time so it was punch-kick-batarang -> punch-kick-batarang -> so-on. I was essentially lucky because I tried showing my wife later and it took 5 attempts to do the same thing.
