Nerdist Science Editor Kyle Hill uses real-world math and science concepts to solve, measure, and make sense of pop culture quandaries in comics, video games, movies, and TV.
The Chinese will probably use ballistic missiles with rods warhead as a kentic energy weapon against ships to avoid mutual nukes... How can ships defend against that?
If Thanos with his 6 imperishable singularities could also incarcerate the reach of the moon's and Titan's gravity with the purple energy that surrounds the moon and then pull them to the Avenger's faces, I think this scene would be possible.
The best way to make invisibility work is with a skintight cloaked full bodysuit that includes built-in ski-mask with a special lense so you can see out of it. It's only invisibility on the outside. Just like a Klingon Warbird when the cloaking device is switched on. This method shields your body heat from thermosensors and has stealth technology to absorb EM and radar energy while light goes around it, making you undetectable by any type of sensor. I think the government wore some similar suits like this on Predator ll inside the slaughter house. The siuts were not as hi tech but they were still proof of concept.
60000 is not 2000 times but more than 200 times 275. Guess you dont even check your scripts written by underpaid interns before you read them on youtube. Kinda cheap . Blocking this cheap channel from my feed
This doesn't take into equation how each strand of web has an intertwined cross-section of web. For all the horizontal strands their are also vertical webs that connect the webbing, increasing the capacity.
A Nerd question: If you hit a fly at a high velocity wouldn't it get demolished like if a car got demolished by hitting a concrete barrier at a high speed?
Another issue with the ability is that the user to dosent know about his destination..so it he plans to teleport on a spot and and an object is there he will appear inside the objects which is bad ... imagine someone inblw a brick wall..😢😮
Great video! I don't really get the inability to hold your breath in space part. Why would you loose the ability due to lack of pressure, why does it make it so the muscles no longer hold the breath? Not sure what I'm missing
Why having super speed is ok for your health is that the level of speed he's Talking about would make you heal just as fast so it would hurt but you'd basically have infinite regen you also have sped up other parts like your eyes so you would be able to perceive things slower
I ride motorcycles. Ever have a pebble hit you in the arm while doing 80 on the freeway? Yea it’s like a BB gun. So thinking about this alone will have me saying nevermind to super speed😂😂
When I was in high school, I completely plagiarized this video for a physics presentation. I had a great grade thanks to you so I want to thank you for your amazing content and apologize for my attitude.
I say the solution is it is indeed white dwarf star matter and he was just exaggerating the weight. Sure, you could lift it with a crane or something, but its still true that no human could lift it themselves/
actually about that reaction time, deadpool has a lot longer than 5ms. because he is not taking action after the bullet has been fired but when the shooter is moving his hand to aim at him and then pull the trigger. he just has to out speed the shooter hand movements trailing his hands wherever the shooter is aiming and that is much more realistic IRL. still a fan of yours because you are still a thousands time better than all the other pseudo scientists out there.
What if, though, we were to use the other planets and asteroids already available in the solar system as the fuel for the hypothetical fusion rockets, instead of Earth's limited resources? Problem solved...? Lol :)
Let’s play would you rather. Would you rather: Possess the power of flight, but in order to do this, you have to strike the dramatic Superman pose, make whooshing sound effects with your mouth the whole time, and you max out at a speed of 2.5 mph. OR Be able to phase through walls but in order to do it, you have to run full speed at the wall you’re phasing through while it works about 95% of the time. Choose your path!
My idea of the perfect invincibility is the ability to make yourself unnoticeable, so basically light would still hit you people just wouldn’t notice you
All of the downsides aren't married to immortality. Being murdered at 1000 years old is fine who cares. Why would I have biological immortality and not my loved ones? Doesn't make any sense. He's also making assumptions on a human experience that has never existed with the brain storage space argument. How can we fathom how a non aging brain would experience life. Lastly, if you contract an incurable disease you could just choose to end yourself. Not sure why we forgot about highlander rules for that bit.
