🇵🇭 Born in the Philippines, I moved to Central Florida in 1995 with my parents and my brothers. After 22 years in Orlando, I traded the city lights and became a proud resident of The Villages. Now, alongside my husband, we call a cozy Courtyard Villa in Spanish Springs our home, with all the community's vibrant amenities, picturesque parks, and charming shops just a stone's throw away.
From restaurant recommendations to must-see events, I'll share all my local knowledge to make your Villages experience unforgettable

But He said to me, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ's power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9
We arrive next Wednesday, and that is one of the first things we do when we get to the resort is hop on the skyliner. Has happened several times, especially go to and from Hollywood Studios.
@@GracejoyTV with there being 6 of us, we need plenty of room, so we stay in the Finding Nemo Suites at Art of Animation. Great property and easy access to the Skyliner. Also they are centrally located on that property.
Ugh. My stepdad and his girlfriend live there and it may look pretty on the outside, but it's got a reputation for being the STD capital of the U.S. During the pandemic they held large dance parties every single weekend with hundreds attending and nobody bothered wearing masks because they all denied COVID was real. My stepdad and his girlfriend were part of the stupidity and he ended up in the hospital with COVID.
Yes there are many rumors about The Villages. Sorry to hear that your stepdad got Covid and was in the hospital. I hope he is better now :) Best to you and your family!
Love seeing all the topiaries. I subscribed. I want to visit Walt Disney World someday. 🙏🏻💵 I watched one of your videos of The Villages in Florida. Looks like a beautiful and fun place to live and play. 😊
Hi! So happy you found my channels. And yes, the topiaries at Disney always captures me! Do you have any topiaries of your own? Thankful we get to live in The Villages!
Orlando has GOT to be the best of both worlds… U can grow pretty much all of the tropical fruits we grow here in Miami, w/o the sweltering heat, and y’all get hydrangeas?!?! Yall are like the step child of Florida.. not blood related so… rather than getting humid cesspool swamp… u get the cool tropical stuff we can AND the pretty flowers 😭
I get ya. I like the coffee drinks from both places but Starbucks has more rewards/incentives since it’s a National brand compared to Foxtail Coffee which is a local company 😊
I don’t live in Florida but I got to st Augustine every year I’ve gone about five times and there is always new things to enjoy I loveee St. George street and can’t wait to go back!!
I live in Crystal River. Great place for viewing manatees, bird watching, fishing, scalloping or visiting the many state parks. Plenty of restaurants in Crystal River or nearby homosassa. Charlies seafood is now bayside craft kitchen.
That's awesome that you live in Crystal River! We're only 1 hour from you :) Yes, lots to do. We need to go back to try Bayside Craft Kitchen. Is it same owner? Have you tried it?
I know this video is a couple years old hope you’re well but the construction will never end no matter what. Every acre of trees and wild orange groves will be chopped down and paved over till there’s none left. I’ve lived here in central Florida all my life and agree with your list but the daily intense rain and thunderstorms through June-September is something transplants should be aware about lol
Thank you for your thoughts and for finding my 2 year old video! Lol. I hope they don't chop down EVERY acre of trees. And yes, June 1st starts Hurricane Season which comes every year.
What a misleading video. We moved here and knew it wasn’t gated, thus no HOA fees. The gates a a deterrent for traffics and shady people coming through. Construction on 27/441, duh, many, many areas are upgrading infrastructure to alleviate the congestion. Also, as a community there is expansion, thus the new housing construction. My wife and I have been here five weeks and did our research beforehand. We knew of the things you don’t dislike in your videos, but stilled moved. Absolutely, no regrets.
Thank you for checking on me! Everything is fine. Just switched my focus off RU-vid for a little bit. Also, end of the school year is super busy and tiring but summer break is about to start so I should be posting again! How are things with you?
Hi, we're not 100% sure the name of the yellow rose we had at the front of the house. They were already there when we bought the house. We did add a couple of 'Peace Rose' bushes and those are yellow :) Hope that helps.
