So much inspiration and value from your video. you got yourself a new subscriber❤ If you're a new youtuber like me, don't give up , be consistent and keep pushing , your channel will make it. Much Love❤
Wow! That's a commitment. Great job! You should try long form. There a little more wiggle room for storytelling and explanations without needing to break things into multiple parts. Thanks for watching. I'm glad you enjoyed the video! 😁
Mate... You are absolutely spot on. You've got to want to do it and commit to it beyond your desire for immediate success and recognition and you've got to practise. Great video!
While I don't disagree with your comments about primes being smaller, there is something to be said about one lens that stays on your camera. So if I'm out shooting, to have three prime focal lengths, I have to carry a bag and have two of the lenses in the bag. So is it lighter in total weight? Is it as convenient? And at this point, optical performance of zooms have closed the gap vs primes. If this was a 20-50 f2.8 , it would be homerun. But as is, I see a place for this lens. I had a 24-70 f2.8 and while great for events and wedding, was too big and heavy for casual carry and travel. And frankly, I find 70mm to short for portraits anyway. So I would have an 85mm with me even with a 24-70. The Tamron 17-70 f2.8 is a great option, no doubt. Hadn't considered it for my setup.
I see both points, but I stand by my opinion in the video. I think the focal range is just strange. I also think it depends on scenario. If I'm out shooting street or just have my camera with me, I'd most likely bring 1-2 lenses for the sake of convenience. The 17-70 is solid for crop sensors and definitely way lighter than the 24-70. While the 24-50 doesn't fit my needs, I'm sure it fits someone's as Sony has sold a lot of them 😅 Cheers!
Great question! It really comes down to a few things: 1. Embracing the fear because truthfully I am afraid, but knowing that it's really the only way right now. 2. Taking my time. I'm cautious when I'm out in public. Making sure that I'm not rushing or distracted is key. 3. Only bringing what I need. I'm not packing my entire kit, only 1-2 camera (not my most expensive) and 1-2 lenses. Hope this helps! Gear was made to be used. Just be careful. Also I featured your question in this weeks video. Cheers! 😁
RU-vid reached out to my small channel. Rene wrote a letter suggesting that I partner with Rubbermaid....he wrote " ....Rubbermaid makes trash cans big enough to fit your horrible channel and the disasterpieces you call videos; perhaps you could partner with them " X0X0 Rene
Negative attention? You? Why.... You are doing a great job! Orange on the glasses, orange headphones.....You obviously know the best color! You are perfect! tHanks for the fun video....Have a super week!
Glade I find your channel I started my channel 3 months ago am still learning hoping to keep learning and keep having fun. I just subscribe to your channel.
Love your video! What great perspective. I started about two months ago and love watching other creator videos. I love that you have gotten some brands reaching out to you. Congrats!
This was a good video. Thanks for your insights. I’ve only started about 3 months ago. I can’t wait to be where you are even though you’re not monetized yet. Keep it up! You’re an inspiration. ❤
I started my channel in June 2024. I currently have 23 subscribers 🎉. I will continue creating videos and posting consistently and I hope six months from the time I started ie January 2025 I will be somewhere further ahead as a content creator.
Love this! This video helped me out so much. I keep doing youtube for virality but thats not what its about. I spend about 8 hours cutting/editing my long video game content vids, and I thought I was doing something wrong because it can be frustrating to see you only get 23 views on a video I spent hours editing. This is going to help me relax when I do videos and Perhaps be more happy! Thanks!
Yes! I'm glad this was able to help. It is definitely frustrating to spend a lot of time on something to get few views. What always helps me is that those views are people. If 23 people sat in a room and watched you play video games that would be amazing. Also there are so many things that go into a video taking off. Each time focus on a new aspect and you'll get better over time. And finally, please enjoy the process. Making videos should be fun. Sharing your joys and passions with the world should bring a smile to someone's face - even if it's your own. 🙂
Much of the growth of your channel will come from your commitment to encourage and inspire others. Your unfair advantages are that you are authentic, inspirational, and your servants heart. Your viral channel growth is right around the corner and just ahead.
Wow! Thank you for these kind words. And thank you for watching and commenting on some of my older videos. It truly means a lot. I'm so happy that you're enjoying my content 😁
I believe that each video is an "at bat" especially in the beginning. Once you reach a certain size audience there is a familiarity factor but if things are taking off in the beginning, there's room for improvement. I do believe that some of it is algorithm related but I believe it's mostly audience driven.
I love your enthusiasm. I started my channel in 2008 at 48 years old in beekeeping. Then in 2022 I earned my silver play button and now I'm almost at 150,000 subscribers so let me encourage you that you can do it. Just be persistent and consistent with content creation. Great job!
Super story Bee Keeper! That is great........but then again...Each hive has 20,000 plus subscribers......ehh, I suppose it all counts. Fantastic job! Wishing you loads of smiles in a sweet future!
All great questions. The main learning is that this RU-vid thing is a journey. My only measure of success right now is showing up because that's the only thing in my control. I'm not quite sure what 2025 will bring. Still trying to finish 2024 😅. You should definitely buy a camera!
