Those cars was probably found long ,before the pond was emptied , i mean did people take them for perfectly square stones or what . And the roofs was practically at the surface of the pond to begin with. If you look att the hight of the watermarks. I think the "not my problem field* " was strong here . That McD's was my 1st job @ 14 yrs old. I remember making $3.25/hour and every year I did so good, I would sometimes get a whole quarter raise! Every kid wanted to have their Birthday party on the McD's train!! Cool video!
You never had fried clams like the ones that came out of that building!!! They were the best. The parking lot was full on weekends. Some cars were parked where they shouldn't have been..it was worth it!!

I worked for our family gas station/ towing service in the late 70's & a closed quarry, filled with water was the target for the local Sheriff's department to send divers down to hooked up cars that we pulled out one Sunday in the summer! After pulling out multiple cars the divers claimed there were cars on top of cars down there! After we pulled up 20 cars they stopped searching for what ever they were looking for! 💁♂️
