Awesome ride, just bought a 79’ 4 door manual diesel rabbit and I’m having some issues trying to find parts. Especially dash + window seals. Any recommendations for a place for those?
Just getting back into bmx after a long absence. I was riding from 1997 until about 2010 and never witnessed anyone break a frame. I guess this is the result of the lightweight craze? It seems really common now from what I understand

The pedals are causing them to come loose if you keep good bearings in pedals they will not come loose but if they start going bad the pedals start coming out of the boss easily. That's the down side to having insets but the upside is their replaceable inserts so if they strip you're not stuck needing whole new cranks
Love the white on white wheels! I discovered a Mk1 diesel in the woods near our farm and am considering buying it, restoring it, and putting a turbo on it. Something that is simple and can run on veggie oil would be nice to have around.
It has been 10 year ago the first time I saw this video and remember this gave motivation to take my bike and ride even when I practiced flatland and now this makes me feel nostalgic
So your engine is an na solid lifter engine you slapped a turbo on? Did you swap the injection pump to a turbo pump or leave it na? I’m rebuilding my na 1.6 right now and I’d love to turbo it if possible.. my rabbit is an 84 4 door. I’d love to know what you did to turbo yours thanks
@@arsenalfalco realistically speaking.. how hard or easy is it to do that governor mod? I’ve never attempted to open my injection pump before but i would much enjoy at least 10lbs of boost.. i have to climb this gnarly hill on the freeway to get to work and it’d be nice to go faster than 35 up that hill lol
