I have a conspiracy theory that Rae may be a Vtuber manager on the side. I dunno why but I get the feeling that she actually manages a bunch of Vtubers while also streaming.

I'm pretty sure the older games let you delete the previous save file easily. Very stupid not letting you do that, they can add a double check alert for all that's worth, if the developers are so worried.
this reminds me of renting cartridge games from blockbuster, and if it was a long RPG you better not run out of money to extend the rental with, or someone else was getting it and probably overwriting that save, and then it's back to the start... I think I forked over more allowance money to blockbuster than if i had just saved up to purchase the game 😢
Omg blockbuster!! I loved going to blockbuster so much, they had a display to let you play trials of games. I would be in the blockbuster for hours while my mom ran errands LOL
It does sounds like your brain is mixing bed-time with work-time. The way to decouple both involves setting up clear physical space separation between work space and sleep space. Bed room just for sleep or leisure, one different room for work, or a precise corner of the living room, if that's all you have.
