I'm Valentine, a French violinist, student at the Conservatory of music in France.
I recently launched my own RU-vid channel and website to share with you some free entertaining and educational content related to the violin. I love the process of working on each video and have plenty of ideas and projects in the pipeline, including more complex cover songs with additional instruments, educational tutorials, a series of videos to help you get started with the violin... and much more!

You're right! I personally did about 40 minutes to 1h30 per day most days for the first 5 years, and about 2 hours/2h30 a day on the 6 year for my final exam. But I think how someone practices is also important, and not only how long they practice :)
Wow, you sound great and it's so perfectly in tune in the last clips 👏👏 what are the pieces at 6 years called? They sound beautiful! I'm 4 years and 2 months into learning the violin and it's so inspiring to watch other people putting in so much practice over so many years as well 💪
Thank you so much for your kind comment! The first piece is called Sakura, a trad. japanese arranged by Maria Kaneko Millar. The second one is called Allegro Brillant by Willem Ten Have. I am so glad you enjoyed this video, thank you for watching, and best of luck for your violin journey 🤗😘
Bonjour Joe!
Bonjour Valentine. Wow! I'm about four years with violin and I'm not even close to where you were at that point. You are truly a professional now. Hope things are going well for you in England. Take care, Jim 💚🎻🎵
Bonjour Jim! Thank you so much for your nice comment, I am always happy to hear about you. I'm so happy you enjoyed the video🤗 I'm actually still in France to do a work experience, but my husband is already there and he loves it! I'll let you know once I move there, but I'm sure it's going to be lovely. How are things on your side? What piece are you practicing at the moment?
Tres Bonne Valentine! I like this one. Now........ what your audience really needs is La Vie En Rose in three parts. Voice, violin, and guitar. One verse in French and one in English. You have such a beautiful voice it would be great! I know it's been done hundreds of times in France, but it's a big favorite in the United States. Just a thought. Take care, Jim
Merci Jim, c'est gentil :) Ahhh yeah, "la vie en rose"... It's actually a good idea. I'm relocating to England in a few weeks, so doing this song would be like a good bye to my home country you know? I'll definitely give it a try when I have a bit more time. Thank you for your suggestion, it's always lovely to read you. Take care 🤗
