1:05:34 LOVE to hear Michael Pinella get some spotlight again! SX were at their peak when he was more involved in every section of their songs (95-07), and he's still my favourite pianist.
1:22:11 I look at Michael and gesture that I want a guitar pick. He nods and lifts his finger to say "one sec". End of the song comes and he flicks it at me with pinpoint accuracy. I was able to get it. It made my fucking year because I was there early just to get that spot to watch him play. Guy is a class act! I like him even more now
Fuckin ass setlist as usual. Those guys are my favourite but goddamn they lack in the self promo department. Stupid ass pkay-safe setlist, the same as the one 2 years ago !!
And their productivity (2015 was the time of their last album). And their setlist renewal (pretty much the same since 2018-ish) :D Other than that, GOAT'ed band, and WHAT A RUN they had in 1995-2007!!
Thanks for sharing this! I'll be seeing them for the first time in a few days. My favorite metal band. Romeo is ridiculously good.. whole band is excellent.
I believe I got the best seat of the house upstairs, at least for me and my 5ft tall wife . I found a great spot to rest my cell phone and hold it without having to look at it. At the end I checked if everything was ok and it worked out. Not for a single second I was worried about the recording, it just happened to be ok so I uploaded it.
-Of Sins and Shadows NEEDS to return again! It's nice to see Inferno finally return after not being played for a decade (2011-12 ish). -Dehumanized was honestly a nice "new" addition to the setlist, but I'd REALLY love to see A Fool's Paradise (and Fallen, and The Bird Serpent War, and REDISCOVERY II) live!!! -I mean, they played Domination on almost every setlist from 2007-2019 ish, so I'd replace that one as well. Run With the Devil DEFINITELY has to go, though. What I'd give for a setlist centered around V, but with more 95-02 songs mixed in there. And then maybe a few 07-15 songs like Revelations, Walls of Babylon, Seven or Reign of Madness (but I don't mind neglecting those albums, they've been played till death).
