As a dude who just subscribed because I searched up "How to animate on moon animator" and saw your short where the bald white guy pulls out a gun I have to ask LITERALLY HOW?!?!?!
@@CreatorWesley so Im making animation with multiple people and when I play it the animation that I dont want to happen yet plays early how to I fix that?
I'm tryna get into animating. not necessarily new to it but I'm not that experienced. just no idea what to focus on and whatnot. do you happen to have any tips to help?
@@B1ggest4head well its better if you show me exactly where you’re at in animation, so i can have a better time telling what you need contact me on discord, @creator_wesley
Sir id just like to say that this character is cool and Im making a game and I was woundering could i just like use this guys as a boss i already have some ideas plus its just funny.
I self taught myself animation with moon animator, as most animation tutorials are just, "here are the key-binds for everything, use onion skin, and you'll be just fine!" Love this tutorial since it shows beginners the stages of making an action animation smoothly and naturally. Great work!
I've made made my fair share of animations, some with more or less keyframes than this, but HOLY CRAP this is smooth. Probably one of the best animations I've seen; keep doing what you're doing.
@@CreatorWesley While you spend 6+ hrs on keyframes, i spend half of the time by trying to figure out how to animate the way i want it to be, and also faces, i need to learn how to animate faces ._.
im actually working on an experimental game to better my development skills. ... and this video is just filler for inconsistent uploading, so you'll be seeing related content much sooner.
Hey wesley, ive been examining your work and i have some questions regarding other videos like this, How do you manage to fit all of those keyframes not exceeding 100 frames?, and additionally, do you always use every rotation for one keyframe like. Using all directions? From fhe green to red and blue
@@ZackNLennysMechStudio 1. i animated every 2 frames at 24 fps, possibly with simple inbetweens. 2. its more of positioning, rotating, and easing one keyframe after another. specific types of poses are used, and amounts of movement allow different easings using linear.
@@CreatorWesley I don't wanna ask much but do you have some tips when animating at 2's? I tried to do a big project in moon animator but ended up scrapping it, I still don't get why moon animator progressively slows down over the course of the animation
I learned a thing or two from this video, 1:// wesley likes to move limbs slowly with the cursor 2:// p a t i e n c e. [Also one More additional thing, why does wesley transition from none to linear]
in studio, press the plus sign to add an asset and add “archandles.” they work like regular adornments: adorn an adornment to an adornee to see adornment.
so, problem, this tactic is outdated… i do not know how to help your problem so best solution is to load a previous autosave file and hope for the best.
@@akumai1269 yes, it does make it better. theres a specific animation principle called "animating on (frame count)'s." here, i add a keyframe every 5 frames (animating on 5's), making the animation process more organized and easier to use.
I usually make my character spring (my pfp) have this weapon and I'm planning to use it in a upcoming series I'm working on. And If It does appear in a episode, I will credit you. I hope it's fine if I can use your dev scythe idea.
