One 4th of July we went to my Aunt's to grill. We came back to see our new neighbors had gone ham with fireworks. My wolf dog ATE her way out of the house from fear...
Tell him it’s just fireworks. Walk him around outside and show him the majesty. Just a quick walk and explanation is all a dog needs and he will grow to understand and love the 4th
@@leonardnimoy3442 Well, that didn’t work. They back talked us and told us to take them back inside and give them a treat. Sometimes they can be unreasonable. Who knew?
Yes they are! My dogs are petrified of them! We medicate them right when we hear the first one! I think dogs that were once on the streets are particularly afraid!
I live in rural area and people shoot off fireworks for damn near any reason you give them. I hate it, my dogs hate it, the cattle and other livestock hate it, as do all the people suffering from anxiety disorders/PTSD
Dogs, cats horses, oh, the horses 🐎 would stampede in pasture for 10 min before calming down. The fireworks were a bout 1/2 to 1 mile away..one of the dogs hid under the house next door for two days....I t go I ought she had run away 😊
Please keep our animals safe...and pray for our war torn countries, the chijdren and animals dont deserve this. Mother Nary, Jesus, and St. Francis, protect us...❤❤❤
@@ingenunis5003 I am still quite surprised. It’s not unheard of, but it’s also not common for them to hit 7 ft. His last shed was 7.5 ft, so it stretched about 8-9 inches as it came off.
@k2rocksstl LMFAO okay turn on a recording of firework at low volume while doing a positive activity like eating or playing. Once they are use to it, it gradually increase the volume over time, like every few days or a week. Use your brain 🤔 🧠. People's laziness is just straight up staggering sometimes.
@k2rocksstl Don't know why my first reply wasn't posted, but it's absolutely possible. Start with a positive activity like playing or while they eat. Put a recording of fireworks on at a low volume, Over time in days or weeks, depending on their comfort level increases the volume. Use your head a bit instead of just saying it's not possible. I literally did this with 2 dogs don't tell me you can't do it, you just sound lazy.
@@jadeblack5586 no, I know My girl. Traumatized. She did well yesterday and I'm very proud of her. And she was rewarded today with ice cream. Don't be judgemental, that's for losers. Understand that all dogs, just like people, are different and have their own stuff they carry. Who is ANYONE to be critical or judgemental of another's experience?
My dogs fear them also, as do most animals. My chihuahua has to be medicated in an attempt to stop her horrible panic attacks. So sad what man does to his defenseless friends for fun.
Thats my son and my song! I'd be driving, put in the tape and we'd sing away! Grrrreat memories! ❤ He'd always turn and look at me, at the part and sing soooo loud... You're My Brown Eyed Girl! I LOVE YOU!
I got a call at work Friday from a panicked lady that stated they needed help removing a bunch of snakes from a water meter box, a few hours later l removed TWO Dekay snakes that were very pregnant.. They had dozens of babies last night, and they are so small that this baby lizard could easily eat a few ... How these snakes find small enough prey in the wild to survive is a mystery to me! Maybe baby worms?
What beautiful loved and lucky doggies and (the humans that are blessed with them) this is so very nice, brought such a humongous smile to my face😁😄👍❣️
