that's me trying in my first runs trying to beat hades, hoping to get stubborn roots (or whatever it's called) so that i can slowly regenerate health by ignoring the bosses and just having a completely terrible build
Can I just say, doubling the pom level ups has been ABSOLUTELY clutch for me when I get it early game. Especially if i pair it with stacking doom/hangover. I haven't played the game in a while though so I forget if **postgame spoiler** persephone's pom blossom also gets affected by this - I don't think it does??? But imagine if it did
I got all the fates and achievements. All that's left is the third skelly statue. Im at 22 skulls and just gave up. You reach the point where there's no nerfs you're fine with getting. Upgraded hades is ridiculous, increased speed fucks you, nerfing your boons and mirror fucks you. Healing gets % worse each time, prices further cripple you. It's just not happening for me.
It's not a duo boon but this has been me trying to get rip current my last few runs 💀 it's the only Poseidon boon I need for the fated list and every single time Poseidon offers me boons he gives me everything BUT HIS CALL
I am so glad I finally got all the boons myself so now I can play however I want with whatever wacky build I can come up with the game is so much more open to me now
wow i didnt even know to this day that you needed specific boons to unlock duo ones. I just thought i need one boon that knocks away foes and one that throws any type of lightning strike. Didn't know you needed the core boons specifically
it took me three fucking days to finish half the god boon prophecies. I got a blood bond with aries and there's a single fucking boon I can't get. it's been weeks
Me @... Well okay, most all my favorite builds rely on at the very least one duo boon, but some that spring to mind are Sea Storm on Super Soaker Lucifer, Merciful End on the fists, and most all the cast duos for Achilles Spear (Hunting Blades, Ice Wine, Crystal Clairity, etc.)
Idk about Tartarus keepsake but if you just took the duo and then waited for the next boon or switched the keepsake to Zeus in Elysium it might'd worked.
Tbh I never go for a specific build I just take boons and than pick what I like the most of that So for example Ares shot will almost never be used I don't like it

And I seriously doubt there’s much oxygen that deep in the earth… Come to think of it, there’s likely a lot more pressure down there than the human body can withstand… hmm, I wonder how he survived? Oh I know. He’s a god. And do you see him standing on top of the lava? Yes? Well then, I wouldn’t say he’s submerged in it then, would you?
@@Asparagun actually I find asphodel more spacious than other regions. Mostly because there’s really not that much blocking you. If you need to you can just step in the lava and dash across to get away from an attack. Other regions you’re often stuck in a specific branch of a room like in Tartarus. You have to dash across the gaps or you’re just stuck. And the fact that you tried to completely change topic to shift to my saltiness makes me think you’re absolutely covered in the stuff cause I pointed out that the game with a bone hydra and the entire pantheon of Greek gods doesn’t exactly use realistic logic
I never got far enough into this game to get the different types of each individual weapon and to get into real duo boon builds and stuff. I stopped right before
