I already tried this kind of cable. It is a Mini Display Port to USB-C cable, not Thunderbolt to USB-C. Thunderbolt has a "flash" sign, not a "display" sign. Doesn't work for Thunderbolt but only with Mini Display Port.
@mabakay here is the video review of the product ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-6bUnsFNIM4g.htmlsi=y1ZLNyYE704Zslf9 showing different co2 values
I don’t use the iPad Pro for gaming. The case can be removed but I don’t intend to remove the case every now and then. I prefer to remove once in a while only to clean the iPad Pro.
This is more like a desk pad as it is quite big and if you can imagine it’s size is like 5 mouse pads combined together. It’s price is similar to the costs when you combine the costs of 5 mouse pads then you get one desk pad. It costed me 14.99€ affordable price and better quality in my opinion.
It isn’t thunderbolt, it is a mini display port. Both ports have same shape but the electronics differ. This adapter did not work with a usb-c to thunderbolt connection. And even the product page on Amazon says it is incompatible with thunderbolt.

Elago pencil 2 case charges when aligned with the magnetic logo but you need to have the iPad case very thin on the side where the Apple Pencil charges. I tried with and without iPad case. My iPad case is thick so does not work for me. I cannot use elago pencil 2 case.
Nice video! Does the flap on your case close fully with the apple pencil and elago case attached to the ipad? Or does the pencil sleeve make it too thick to have the clap closed?
Thank you, the flap closes with the Apple Pencil and no issue when the Elago case is attached to the Apple Pencil. The only problem is with Elago case present it will not charge the Apple Pencil as the thickness of the iPad case makes it hard enough for charging. Without Elago case the Apple Pencil is able to charge with the iPad case. So either purchase where there is less thickness iPad case on the Apple Pencil charging to use Elago case.
I tried with the magnetic side of the elago case. It charges the pencil 2 but without having the iPad case. The iPad case which I am using is not thin so on the side where the pencil 2 attaches and charges. Thanks for the tip.
Yes I am able to charge the pencil with the case on but you need to remove the case to connect the Apple Pencil 2 for the first time. Here is a video of it ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HUCB6F-RT2U.html
