WHAT DO YOU KNOW ABOUT A COMMON PLANNER. I AM THINKING OF KEEPING ONE PLANNER FOR MY BUSINESS AND THEN A COMMON PLANNER IF FOR MY LIFE AND ALL THE THINGS NOT WORK RELATED AND A MASTER SCHEDULE.
Hi Kalani! Common Planners are fantastic and they look really upscale and professional - great to use as a business planner. They are bound of course so if you prefer to change your layout or add paper or something to it, you won’t be able to. If you want to use a different planner for your business and the common planner as your “life planner,” a good idea is to map out what things you want to track in your life planner and see if the common planner will have the structure you need. But common planners themselves are high quality very popular agendas. And they look really nice which is always a plus 🥰
@@ThePlannerAisle oh it is a brand. I thought is was a style of planning. I am a ring bound planner and I follow most of your set up ideas. My ring planner feels a little too chunky with all the sections.
@@kalanistone5370 If you still want to use the ring method you can always get slim rings (10-15mm). That way you don’t have to worry as much about bulkiness.
Super thorough video! I wish I had found a video like this when I started my planning journey 4 years ago. I'm sure newbies will really appreciate your hard work for this video.
My planner sweet spot is either 7x9 or A5. I’ve tried both ring & disc planners. I like disc a bit more due to it has features of a spiral planner but customizable. I agree that it’s fun experimenting with the different types of planners to find what works best.
Hello🤗. I’ve been on this planner journey now 5 yrs and I love it 😍. I started out in personal size which now only used as my wallet. I love experimenting with different sizes..etc half letter and A5. To keep the costs down, I buy mostly preloved because I change my mind in 2.5 sec.😂. As always this is useful information and thanks for sharing 🫶🏾💕.
Hi Felicia! I think that’s the best part about it being a planner journey! You get to try different styles and methods and it evolves with you ❤️ Thanks for sharing!
I use half letter and discovered that Amazon has a nice size selection of half letter inserts, at an affordable price. It’s also easy to make your own inserts, for those of us (me) who suck at measuring/cutting 🤣 fold in half, cut, punch and done! I used to hate rings then I discovered smaller sized rings. I realized it wasn’t the actual rings I hated, just the HUGE ring sizes! Great video explaining everything!
Oh that’s good to know about half letter, thanks for sharing that! And yes I totally understand. I’m moving away from super large rings as well. Thanks so much! ❤️
I moved from spiral and ring to discs in 2024. I will never go back to spiral planners. But I am going back to rings for 2025 for my academic planner. For journaling I'm in discs now but plan to go back to bound in 2025.
Nice video, as always. I liked this box. The boxes have been getting better from the beginning of the year. I just want them to send a couple of blue ink pens once in a while. I never use black ink so the constant black ink pens are a bummer. Otherwise, solid box.
Mmm I totally agree! The boxes have been steadily improving. That’s really good feedback for them - I don’t remember ever seeing a blue everyday pen in the sub box. Would definitely be a nice switch up!
I 1000% agree with your review. The budgeting sheets will probably not work for me and its a sad because I was looking forward to the inserts. Everything else I will find another use for them. Thanks for your honest review like always!
Another great review. I always look forward to your take on the boxes!! I love the sleeve and plan to use it for my small laptop and/or iPad. I like the page flags, the size is great to use as tabs in my planner or notebooks. Overall I like the contents, and so glad that the inserts are styled such that they can be repurposed. I will have to figure out what to do with the vellum notepad.....😀
Thank so much! One idea I forgot to mention is if you have a pocket planner, you can decorate it with stickers or ink, punch holes in it and use it as a decorative journaling card! But yes, a lot of great items this month :)
I actually like all the items this box. I don’t sub to the box so, I do hope they put a few things on the site to by individually. I’m also a big reader so, I’m biased 🤭 TFS!
I always look forward to your reviews and for your suggestions on other ways to use the product. I do believe I saw on another review that the waterproof uni can work on the vellum type notepad and the colored labels library flags. Just not as clear as the white sticky part. Possibly the white vellum can be tapped on with a light colored washi to tack it in place. But I wish it was a large vellum sticky note so it stays in place! I’m not a big reader but I do use transparent in my Bible and so I always struggled with it cause the squares are small so I got excited seeing this one but sad once I noted it didn’t stick and would just be sliding around all other the place. 🥴. Some cute items in here but not my complete favorite box. Love your reviews. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Danielle! 🥰 Yes I was definitely a little sad with the vellum sheets not being a sticky note pad, but using washi or other light adhesive is a great work around! That’s so interesting about the waterproof Uni Pin. I tried it on the flags and got so much smearing - but perhaps I didn’t wait long enough for it to dry. I didn’t try it on the vellum though so that’s good to know - thank you for sharing 🤗
Thank you! I don't have a separate work planner. I keep all my work scheduling, budget and wellness in my everyday carry! That setup is linked here ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-M8sRvP_9RNI.html Hope that helps! ♥
Happy Saturday 🤗. Suggestion/Question: Since we are entering the 2nd half of the year, are we ready to talk about the B word…Budget🥴. I moved 3 months ago, purchased some decor items and have completely fell off my savings goal for the year. Can you share what tools or strategies you implement to stay on track? I have unsubscribed from several marketing emails from my favorite stores..that’s about it😂.
Hi Felicia! Ohh the dreaded B word lol! And yes I’ll definitely post an updated budget check-in/tips and tricks video. I do have a few strategies I think you’ll find helpful 🤗Thank you so much for the suggestion! ❤️
Thank you so much! All of my sticker storage is from Homegoods, so I don't have a link. I did find these that are very similar though amzn.to/4d0Qkyn I think the most cost effective option will be to pop over to a Homegoods/TJ Max, or At Home though. They've got a TON of different options to choose from 😊
So I looked thru ur other videos. I don’t see the video explaining which planner is best for us based on our lifestyle that u said u would make. Am I missing it?
Helloo!!! Do you have an update on this bag? I have owned the Beis bag for years and it's tearing apart. So, I need to buy a new work bag. I don't want to buy the beis bag because I need more pockets which is why I have been looking at this bag. Can you let me know how you feel about this bag now that its been over a year?
Hi! It’s held up great, no tearing or anything and seams are still intact - granted I only use it once a month or so, so I’m definitely a light user. The only negative thing is that it’s very heavy to use if you tote your laptop especially if you’re commuting a long distance. I do find I’m ready to put it down after 10 minutes or so. Other than that, it’s excellent 🤗 And the pockets are absolute perfection!
Excellent review. I like the dust bag, Travelers Notebooks (although I am really not sure if I will use them) and I do like the dividers with the stickers. This box has more items that I can say I will definitely use. i would love to get a pack of lined/graph/grid pack with all orders, everyone can use some blank note paper in their respective planners.
Thanks! 🥰 And yes blank note paper would definitely be nice. Simpleandtrendyco on Etsy has some great blank note paper if you want to print your own. It’s all in one download as well 😊
This was my favorite box so far this year. I skipped May because that paper file folder pissed me off so bad. Lol! That mess looked cheap. June was really good--I love and will definitely use the dividers and the pouch was my favorite. I will add a zipper and use it as a going out clutch. Shipping was terrible this month. Shipping the box in the 2nd week of the month is already weird but getting the box at the end of the month is frustrating. But I don't think that's C&P's fault. Another great video.
Yes! The paper folder was definitely a let down. 😞 I kind of wish they would ship the last week of the previous month so we could receive it towards the beginning of the month. The clutch is such a cute idea! I wish I knew how to sew 🤗 Thanks so much! ❤️
Thank you for sharing. I agree with you on the shipping. Usps received it on 6/13 and I received my box on 06/18. I have decided to cancel my subscription with C&P for now and explore other options. Looking at next month box I just don’t feel the value and quality is there.
❤Totally understandable. I've only seen a couple of previews but not the entire line just yet. I've missed the last few happy hours due to work meetings. I will say I'm not typically a fan of the bibliophile box. As far as USPS, they received it on the 10th and it wasn't delivered until the 20th. Super disappointing 🙁
I skipped this month and on the fence about keeping the subscription. I also get others that I love more. Look around and you will see some awesome subscriptions.
I like this box, but it needed a few changes to work well for me. First, while I like the traveler's notebook set, the pages and print are just too small for me. Second, for security, I agree that the pouch needs a zipper rather than a drawstring. Lastly, I'm a clear divider girl because I like having the ability to change the dashboards underneath. I may use these for archive purposes. Otherwise, love the dashboards, page flags and labels. The colorway of this box compliments this month's Jane's Agenda sub-box, so that's a win. Sorry for the long comment. Love the honesty of your videos!!!
The deluxe Jane’s Agenda box is what I get and hands down I love it more than the Cloth and Paper. There are some major differences. JA cost more than CP, the boxes are a month ahead so in June we got our July box and it’s way more colorful and they have a theme for each box. I would also recommend Exquisite Creations box but it is shipped every other month.
Your comment is very nit picky and whiny. There’s so many different companies that offer sub boxes. Just don’t buy from cloth and paper. It’s interesting how there’s so much criticism about this company that I never hear about others. I wonder if the ceo was white would the complaints be this frequent. Also that doesn’t mean to accept poor quality just because it’s black owned. What it means is you can simply buy elsewhere instead of whining about her products. Or maybe you should start your own company since you have so many ideas.
@Hushishisbinsu Your comment is out of line. There is no need for name-calling. My original comment is that of a paying consumer with an honest and unbiased opinion. You have no idea how many other businesses I patronize, and frankly, that is not your business. Further, my comments are based solely on the products and how I may/may not use them and not the color of the CEO. Please focus on your own opinion about the products. Otherwise, keep scrolling. No negativity tolerated here.
@@IWroteItInPenI ended up skipping this month's JA box, but looking forward to September's anniversary box. I'm just discovering Exquis! The discbound notebook in the latest box is gorgeous!
I appreciate your honesty 😊. I liked the elegance dashboard as well. I agree. My dividers got lines on them as soon as I removed the plastic, but I do like the color. Thanks for a great review.
I believe you might be having a post office issue. My job relies on the post office as well and we're noticing a slow down in the mail. We also have to remember it's an election year so more mail is entering into the system right now.
I wish I had the foresight to change my box type. I didn’t need new dividers for my HP Classic, but I decided to add a personal size filoflax to my routine. I was really excited about the page flags and the dust bag. I’m over the reflection cards, too. I gave it to my daughter. I really want more inserts in the boxes in general. I already plan on skipping the July box. While I like the new leather page clip and even the page tab, there aren’t colors I use or need and not worth the total price. I was looking forward to getting to try the 2025 inserts that are typically in one of the summer boxes.
I agree, I'm not typically a fan of the bibliophile boxes, but I did see a dashboard that I really liked for July - I haven't really previewed the other products yet. I do like C&P's inserts in general, just not their dated ones (not a fan of listed holidays). I also want more inserts in general; especially task inserts or brainstorming spreads.
