I'm a veteran sailor in bdo and have all 4 carracks, and love to min/max stats. I agree with everything said in this video. This is the best comparison video ive seen so far! I cant wait for more of your future videos.
No, I did not! One about making a carrack from scratch and bartering for crow coins is coming up after this one and some more non BDO related ones too. However, I don't have any proper editing software so making and editing is just such a pain and takes a while.

Thank you! I don't really like sharing my presets because I make all of my own characters the way I like them, meaning they're very personal to me and my style. And having other people running around with my face isn't something that I'd like to see, especially if I still actively play that character, I'm sorry.
THE PLUMP COELACANTH Only Can Be Traded 7x three times Per Family. Thats a total of 21 gems to Upgrade One and Only ONE Capotia from Tri - Pen. You cant just keep upgrading Caps from TRI to Pen. Unless you farm your ass off for mats to make more Caps to upgrade previous ones. At which point your going to have enough silver that Caps are useless
@@Harkenous I don't think I've used a single skill in the video, so the skill cooldowns are not even showing up. The only Shift and F I see, are the hotkeys for my skills on my skillbar. So I still have no idea what you are referring to, sorry.
@@Harkenous Oh, if you go to your skill tab 'K' then go to Skill Cooldown Slot at the bottom, you'll be able to add notes below your skill cooldowns that will show up below them if you assign and enable them in your UI.
Not necessarily, but they're so easy to make, you might as well just make them to use on other characters that need gear, or for other characters in the future.
great vido, I just came back to the game and am playing on Seasonal , this is a hot topic every day I play so well done. One thing coming from other mmo's that have a lot more content creators the thing I see missing with most BDO content creators is going over simple basic stuff...like what is all this stuff filling up my bags actually for? I mean I'm learning by trial and error on seasonal but I don't want to waste anything that I might want for after I graduate. There is a steep learning curve for all the systems in the game and even though I played a little at launch and a few times since for very short periods of time..it is overwhelming.
Yeah BDO is a huge game that is constantly changing and evolving, I can imagine how overwhelming it must be for new players. That's one of the main reasons most new players quit. But you get a lot of storage space in the game, so I would say keep everything that isn't listed as trash loot from a monster and just give it some time, you'll figure everything out eventually! ^^
Make sure you have reformed your weapon 4 times by crafting 4 reform stones I-IV, up to its final stage and then you can use the sky crystal to craft the final reform stone V to get it to PEN.
Thanks for this vid it really helped me understand that there is life after Tuvala PEN ahahhaah. I just used a Caphras Stone for the first time in 30Days playtime >,<
Whats a good way to farm time filled black stones ? And id the best way to level tuvala accessories to just buy em and build fail stacks and then hope for the best?
The season weekly quest gives you 600 of them, so that would probably be the best way since they also drop from the mobs you have to kill for the quest. And yes, since tuvala enhance rates are higher, that would be the best way. You can either buy them or do some echo rifts, these drop both the accessories and the time filled stones.
Overweight a bit doesn't really matter that much for most Illya Island based bartering.. but your breakdown of everything with gear is really great. Awesome vid!

and suddenly huge gap, after doing all the jetina stuff, i have a full TET gear set - the reforming part was completly skipped here. i cant even start to get it to C10
hello, returning player here. Do we still have to do the reform method? like reform1-5 then spend 4bil for PEN? or can we just buy the oquilla pieces only?
The Oquilla Crystal is only used for the final reform stone 5. But in order to get there, you would still need to reform your gear up to level 4. There's no way to just skip to the last step if you want guaranteed PEN boss gear.

@@Ace-dh6gj They didn't take it out, they just merged the Concentrated Magical Black Stone Armor with the Weapon one, so they're basically the same thing. To simplify things.
Hello, from a great connoisseur of the ocean, as a second opinion I leave my comment here - */-Carrack advance - It is the best to make barter for combat, don't even think about it. */-Carrack balance - most of the players ignorant on the subject believe that it is the worst carrack but this carrack is made for those who only need 1 single carrack for everything, both for barter and for combat and do not plan to make another one, of course it does not stand out in none but can do, their work is not the best but acceptable.. */- Carrack volantel - This one specializes in the speed stat only, it allows you to easily reach 200% speed and more, which makes it ideal for trips, going to vell to LoML etc. It is viable to barter but it needs skin and pets to increase weight and a +1200lt weight crystal, in combat it does less damage than valor but more than balance, it is not the best carrack but it is there in case someone likes it visually . */- Carrack valor - This Carrack in the past was the best for both PVE and PVP combat due to its cannon reload time of 9 seconds, but currently it is only the best PvE Carrack, by attacking quickly it can kill enemies in less time and that leads to a better grind of crocodiles or pirate ships, reaches speeds of 190% and decent turning , it can also be used to combat other carracks that will be easily defeated except for the panokseon... best f2p option */- Panokseon - There are several carrack lovers, I don't blame them... but panokseon is the current king of PvP, it does the same damage as a value carrack but it has 12 seconds of cannon recharging... so what makes it unique? Yep This boat needs a lot of "love" As a disadvantage we only have 2, it has little weight even less than any carrack making it inefficient for the barter and its other disadvantage is having more cabin for sailors who consume the boat's food much faster, not making it viable for long trips. Thanks for the very useful video , i have 2 questions please, is it true that at level 61 we get full Capotia set of accessories which is equal to Tuvala Pen which means there is no need to get enchant our Tuvala accessories. On the other hand, as a pvp focused player, can I get end game pvp gear through pvp content or the grind has to be in pve ?
You do not get a full capotia accessory set at level 61, the only way to get all of them is by completing seasons and exchanging the vouchers you get after graduating for one of them. Or by leveling up and getting them from rewards and then further enhancing those. Pen tuvala accessories are easier to get and they're the same thing, so I'd say it's worth it to get those. And no you can not get your pvp gear through pvping, you will still have to grind.

Advanced is actually best for margoria cc bartering. Cause at 24k weight you can have two sets of t5 and do double margoria cc run without having to return inland and restock.
it is good, except crow coins bartering. My Advance with 167% speed (with green gear) still need an hour for just coins bartering. Boat speed seem heavily affected by many factor, not just pure boat speed. The strong wave tide slow my boat speed very much on crow coins bartering at outer sea. Now I am about to build my second carrack, I am still struggling between Valor and Volante. Any suggestion?
