If you had never said a word about your struggles on this layout, I would never have known. The end result looks great! What I need to learn is how to keep going when I really don’t like the layout I’m working on. Those end up getting pushed to the side and then I have a literal scrapyard of unfinished (hated) layouts. 😂
@limeaide1 and that is exactly why I mention when I struggle. I don't want to gloss over or edit out issues, fixing mistakes and pushing through design choices is personally how I learn and grow, so I am all about anyone else being able to learn or grow as well. ❤️
You're embellishment choices are always perfect! Wasn't sure how I felt about this collection due to the pinks...but after seeing you use it...I love it!! I am fascinated with how perfect your stitching always looks❤
It’s absolutely adorable! I love the stitching, and fun embellishments. I started putting my die cuts on cardstock a few months ago, whenever I get a new collection, and I really like being able to see everything. Thank you for sharing another fun video. 😊
Love the colors and patterns you chose! Awesome layout. I do hate digging through a bunch of die cuts so I did something similar, I bought photo mounting sheets from Amazon (like the old school photo albums) and then filled them up the die cuts. I store each one with the collection that I have so the collection + die cuts are less bulky on my shelf. It does take time, but when I go to scrap a collection, I can see all the die cuts I have at a glance.
Gorgeous background and cheers from another one that likes to tuck things behind the photos for added interest. Doodlebug is always cute, but that one's just extra. I think it's the pastels.
I am JUST LIKE YOU….my craft room ends up looking like this after a project. I’m a starter, not as great at finishing. I’ll allow it to stay a mess until I just can’t stand it anymore! I’m working on cleaning up at the end of each day, but it’s a work in progress. Keep these coming, I feel at home! ❤
I am so glad you found me lol - it's hard to find others who think the same with stuff like this. I sometimes set a short timer and just put away stitching threads or dies - something small that eventually adds up.
@catherinehancock9954 oof they are sold out everywhere! I found one set and it sold out as soon as I posted it in my group. It's the MFT frosted alphas.
