Oh, so you took the Italian guy, that's basically hard mode. If you're NOT playing him, he always makes stupid decisions like selling over 50% of his shares, so you can take over his airline just like that. He also never treats his planes well, all are around 70% health. On the opposite, the Russian guy (the one that called you) is easy mode, because he's a perfectionist and rarely does anything stupid, because of that he (or the Spanish woman) will win most of the missions. But I wish you luck and you are a skilled player, I don't doubt you'll win all missions easily :)
Yeah! I remembered your comment back then and picked Honey Airlines. I played half of the campaign already and the difficulty changed drastically! I also chose Buenos Aires as starting base which I don't think helps when it comes to achieving the objectives quickly. Thanks for the tips and comments :)
@@GameDestroyer Yeah, I was wondering why'd you choose an American city. European cities (especially Berlin and London) are the easiest to work with. They have tons of routes, many of them take little time and there is a trick (or an oversight?) where if you do routes (not single flights), there is an exploit involving cheap gasoline that makes you a ton of money, but more on that later, when you start doing routes.
I'm from Buenos Aires, I thought it would be like in Aerobiz Supersonic where you bid for slots on any airport and you can build routes anywhere, but here it really matters where you start as I found out lol. You really know this game very well, is it one of your favorites isn't it?
@@GameDestroyer Yes, I found out that Berlin is THE best location because it has a route to Tenerife and it just barely fits the weaker plane and the route itself is semi-long. And yes, back in the day, when I was a teen, I played this day and night. I played every character, experimented with stuff, sabotages, museum, exploits, all that fun stuff. That's why I can predict how the AI will act in most cases.
That's really cool. It seems it has great replayability. I wanted to avoid using routes as much as I could but after having 3 planes it becomes a nightmare, at least for me. It's really a good game
Airline Tycoon, that is great :) One of my childhood games. I don't know how it is in the english version but in the german one the missions from the expansions have different voices and a worse quality. Especially the saboteur has been changed fundamentally.
Am still playing this this year, it has its depth but it's not deep, also its funky charm. The soundtrack is great, just have to play it on a separate media player to adjust its volume. The in-game BGM is too loud as is, and theres no in-game volume slider.
First off, I want to thank you for releasing a new video, Destroyer! I have to admit, I literally screamed when I clicked on my notifications, and saw this video mentioned. And wow... This game really starts out hectic! It's been a long time since I played a real RTS like this, but thankfully, the difficulty curve is inverted, so the game got easier after you started building castles.
Thanks! So cool to see you around after so much time! Hope you've been doing well. That's what I enjoy the most about AOE2 campaigns, getting to protect your region in time before it's too late. Thoros campaign was though when it comes to that
@@GameDestroyer A lot has happened in these past eight(?) years. The main thing was that you once called on me to add some variety to the sorts of videos that I upload. As it turns out, the past three videos I uploaded were to games. (I had my reasons for the games, plus the closest thing I've been to a concert since 2019, was a band covering Country songs in a park back in 2022.)
What a surprise. Some time ago I found the videos from Traffic Giant which are great for some background noise. Now the channel is alive again after years :)
😂😂 Thank you. So good to still see you and many of you around ♥. I completely forgot about AT! It's never too late 😂. I hope I can still make that game work after all this time.
I went on to play the entirety of Age Of Empires II Definitive Edition and upload it to RU-vid (some videos are still scheduled though) thanks to you, your channel was a big inspiration for me! Glad to see you're back!
You can really tell that a lot of the earliest of ps1 games were more designed for pc than ps1 which is why it had its own mouse cause these would of been annoying to play with the regular controller, it is still a good game just the mechanics are badly designed for the console.
