Thanks for visiting my channel! I’ve been uploading car wash videos since 2020, and I don’t plan to stop anytime soon! I created this channel due to my enthusiasm for car washes, and film many different wash facilities around Illinois.
Thank you for supporting my enthusiasm for car washes!
This wash really didn't clean the car either. It just sprayed a bunch of chemicals and water on it. From what I know, the 4000 that used to be here also did not clean cars. They really need to get the chemicals straightened out there as they aren't working out.
@@Alex.AL_26I wasn’t even the only car who went through in the rain. It was just a light shower at the time and it wasn’t a big storm at all so it really wasn’t a big deal.
I love Accutrac's, they're so quick and efficient. Those dryers look interesting though, the middle blower nozzle pivoting weirdly reminds me of a LaserDri.
@@LoneStarCarWashes-dc3er I really like Accutrac machines as well. You really can’t ever go wrong with one of them. The oscillating nozzle in the middle is Premier’s new drying nozzle! It’s very interesting for sure.
I just drove past this the other day, since I live in the area, and noticed they were finally open! Seems like a decent place, so I’m definite going to have to stop in and try it out
I do have to say they are really thorough, their wash was really nice and car came out clean. Even with the price the washes are, I’d have to say give it a try just to see and compare to other washes.
I visited a day after they opened, so they had a free wash promotion that I was able to take advantage of. Luckily I didn’t end up having to pay $30 for a car wash.
Sad that the AirStream dryers are gone, but like you said, they probably got rid of them for maintenance reasons and/or lack of parts. Glad they kept the SideKicks though! Still a nice wash nonetheless.
It was a really nice wash! Did not expect the airstream dryers to be gone but they have probably been here since the late 80s/early 90s when the wash opened.
Ok, somebody needs to buy an Airstream Nozzle to keep forever at their residence. However, I like how they installed the new dryers, and kept both pairs of Sidekick Dryers.
The closest one I know of that would be decent is in Bartlett at Valvoline. There are touchless washes in Bloomingdale but have been ran down by the new owners.
Neat Belanger tunnel, but those oscillating sprayers in the beginning are interesting! Are they used as an automatic bug prep since I saw "Hydro Prep"?
I didn’t even notice that on my initial visit or take that into consideration, but I do have to agree they should have rinsed it out or saved scrubbing the wheels for when they are returning to get the prep guns, or even have a totally separate brush for the wheels to avoid cross contamination from the wheels and the cars paint.
I guess one can say about this Broadway tunnel...it's a sleeper hit for Snap Car Wash. No one would ever think Broadway Car Washes would be used in tunnels.
I was surprised to find a Broadway tunnel, as usually they’re only installed at dealerships. I would agree that this is a sleeper hit, it does a great job cleaning up the car.
@@TexasCarWashChannel626 Tidal Wave Auto Spa is very strict about who they let into the tunnel. I have no contact with anyone higher up in the company, so doing an outside view here is currently not possible for me to do.
Looks like another Extreme Clean car wash is opening down the road west of this one where there used to be a previous car wash (Masons Wash something like that) before next to the 7/11.
This tunnel is for sure an older one, and has been through multiple owners before WashU owned it. WashU did clean up the place and made it look really nice though!
@@IllinoisCW OK, that is cool! I had a feeling it was new because I only heard about them about a year ago now. Also, I think you are the first person to film actually film one of these in action.
