Lovley vid mate! Not a huge fan of KTM i think they are more of a ricer brand. The diffrent colours and so on. Maybe a full blacked out superduke 1290r evo whould look good
@@TheEarlster that’s too expensive for a street legal exhaust. Even the race slip on Akra exhaust provided by Ducati is expensive but cheaper than this. I don’t know what Akra and Ducati thinking of this absurd pricing
I have had the same issue with bike cutting out, apparently it's something to do with emissions systems. I was informed not to over fill the tank. I tried this and haven't had it cut out since. Well maybe once when I accidentally over filled again. 😅
I’m very happy with mine. Had two issues though. I cross threaded a screw in the last standoff which was pretty painful to fix. The other was working out where to run the wiring down the side of the bike which I found the instructions to be a little confusing.
Ouch, cross threaded screw is definitely painful, I hope this is resolved now, agree instruction made me nervous in some section. So I had to share my installation experience. Thanks for watching.
when i hear that so many people have misses doubts, she will not like it and so on, makes me feel lucky cause it's my missus that pushed me to finally buy it. Just because i was talking about it so much she told me to go and F buy it lol
It's a beautiful bike, sir and I'm pleased you're enjoying it. I'm on the Multistrada V4s and absolutely love it. I don't think you can beat Ducati bikes these days, the build quality and reliability are second to none✌️
Yes, one of the mirrors was damaged, and the strangest thing is that I have no idea how it happened. Initially, it wasn't a big deal, but over time, it started to irritate me, so I decided to give them away. I did intended to replace them with a smaller pair, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, it was impossible to find a suitable replacement. I only wished these mirrors were scratch proof for the money, but this will not stop me to buy them again.
Yes, I had the Panigale V4s during my California Superbike School training. It was absolutely a dream to ride, so much so that I really wanted it. However, I couldn’t justify having two superbikes, so I bought the SFV4s instead.
@@TheEarlster awesome. I’ve to try it on demo again. Heat isn’t fun even on a short demo which has me worried. The SF also feels pokier at lower speed- torque is king on the road
@@markholmes5695 yes certainly go on many demo to decide. To be fair all my bikes over litre run hot it's not funny, the SF need to breathe by keep moving so lots of lane filtering for me, but excellent for urban rides. With the two cylinder cutoff this definitely helps, the new generation SF has more torque, so you won't be disappointed, I saw the new Panigale Racing Replica 2023 yesterday I wanted to trade in my bike, it was drop dead gorgeous, ride safe.
You’re very quiet around pc plod. Straight roads is a bit yanky. Lov😮the sound. Get yourself out and about the Cotswolds. Great views brilliant corners. You’ll enjoy yourself. Open road whooosh
totally agree, great combo for sure. Originally, I had the Evotech Quad Lock system for my phone. When I purchased the Chigee AIO-5, I removed the Quad Lock connector, leaving the centre bracket, and added a thick rubber spacer. I used the bolt that came with the Chigee AIO-5 and bolted this to the Evotech centre bracket, which is connected to the frame. It was a perfect fit. evotech-performance.com/collections/triumph-rocket-3-r-2020/products/ep-quad-lock-compatible-sat-nav-mount-triumph-rocket-3-r-2020 - Evotech and Chigee should work together, both great products which could benefit many customers.
Not mechanical(i hope), it tend to run poor like idle issues and cut out, the way round it, is to blips the throttle from time to time but it’s quite annoying when you are in heavy traffic, I’m due for a service soon so I’ll keep you posted.
Mr. Earl - would you know if there is a diagram or instruction to remove the plastic cover under the seat/fender to begin the install. I have a 2024 R3GT and am struggling to find something to show how that is completed before I begin the actual install. Looks great by the way!
Hey, yes it's quite easy just two screws under seat inside and slide the undertray to open - navigate pages 15 and 16 from this Installation Instructions (just press URL) - evotech-instructions.s3.eu-west-2.amazonaws.com/instructions/016017+triumph+rocket+tail+tidy+fitting+instructions.pdf
once again great video looks like a gamer changer ..I was thinking of purchasing a new action camera but for virtually the same price I can have all that tech GOOD review keep up the good work 👍🏾
Thanks for your support, yeah me too, but decided to go for the Chigee, so far it hasn't disappointed me, the drawback is this device is as good as your phone regarding Sav Nav (ie Waze or Google Maps) but the dash cam is perfect.
Earlster, my question is, that once you remove that back rear tire guard, if you were to ride in wet weather would the water come up and splash you on your back? Or, would the water not make it up that far?
Good Question, water spray up the back regardless if it the original is on or off, TBH I've noticed no difference rinding in the rain. There is a full rear wheel mudguard you can purchase.
I had the evotech tail tidy on my rocket 3R and the water spray is horrendous. Living in Scotland, I often get caught in the rain and the water comes right up to the back of my helmet and jacket, runs down my back and fills up the seat so I ended up sitting in a puddle. I got all the bits to put it back to stock and it is miles better. I still get a very wet and dirty swinging arm but only have a few splashes up onto the pillion seat now and nothing on the back of my jacket nor on my helmet. 👍😎
@@colinblance7271 Thanks for watching, and sharing your views, it's not for everyone, I personally do not mind as I tend to ride multiple bikes with a rain gear.
During lockdown was best time to travel on motorbike. Roads were empty ive done 8k miles during first lockdown. And was stopped by police they didnt do anything. Just had to use contact less card and life was good hah.
Hi, I was wondering what DB-killer you have. I got the same pipe for my Tuono V4 but my db killer doesn't look the same and caused me to get pulled over by police a few times now. Yours seem to work really well!
Hey, it's a long pipe db killer shown 00:31 and 02:43, it is unusual to get stopped by police, but with that said in certain part of the uk there are introducing db camera with fines
@@TheEarlster Ah yes I see, i might've skipped over that part. I will contact austin racing hopefully they still have that DB-killer. It would save me so many fines :')
Finally youre back Mate! I do prefer the shape of the Evotech bolt. But that tail tidy looks amazing compared to oem. Really shows off the rear tire and looks slick.
Apologies for not being around I hope all is good yourself, ok Evotech bolt that's 1-0, will change it for the majority. Agree the tail tidy does shows off that rear tyre.
I have a SF V4S and I'm doubting about if moving to a Rocket 3 R. SF seems to be always demanding to be piloted in racing mode. Of course having a quiet and relaxing walk on it is perfectly possible, but then you have the strange feeling of being the machine to be restricted regarding to its full potential, like a gladiator taking care of children in a daycare... On the other hand we must also consider the 120 kg weight diference and Ducati's questionable reiability... In my opinion the perfect solution would be to own them both 😅
I hear you, owning them both was the best option for me, they are totally two different bikes, but it's nice to have different option for different rides.
@@TheEarlster absolutely, it spoiled all other motorcycles for me. Whenever I see one I like, I ask myself "does it have 2500cc or more!?". And if the answer is "no!", I'm like "meh!" and move on..
