Thie has been a hard one for me to downsize because 3 of my kids are toddlers and utensils and bowls end up being lost in the trashcan and then one day you have one single kids fork and say uh oh 😅
Haha 😂 3 toddlers is wild lol I recommend extra for this stage of life for sure! I’ve replaced out measuring cups several times because the toddler keeps throwing them in the trash can without me noticing!

Snowflake is a great organization. If I had extra embryos I would definitely use them. Angie didn't use them though she went to the Czech Republic where they create double donor embryos which is different then a couple having too many embryos from an IVF cycle. Kait do you know if Canadians are allowed to adopt American foster children?
Sorry if it sounded like I implied she used Snowflake! I don't know the details of her embryo adoption. I do not believe so, I think you have to live in the same country/have citizenship.

im not a parent, but looking into fostering in a few years (im late 20s) and im remembering whther or not my mom did some of the things you talk about doing. my dad never did i dont think. so there's so much for me to think about especially with trauma background kids. i had somewhat a tumultuous childhood, so this is going to be quite a learnng experiece for me. but i've felt called to adopt (or recently learned: probably to foster) since i was early 20s. so thanks for your podcast
Thank you so much for doing this podcast. I have heard of this way to adopt in the past year. My husband and I have struggled with infertility and didn’t feel ok with creating embryos through IVF (no judgement to those who do we just didn’t feel it was right for us) so this may be a route we take in the future. Currently we are getting licensed to adopt waiting children through foster care. Thanks for your mothers heart, your information and sharing your journey with us. -Gina S.
