0:16 Kareem Abdul-Jabbar may possibly have been a Lakers legend, but he did it all and now have just won back-to-back World Championships!

Salute to Pat Riley for retiring the #23 on the Miami Heat. Michael Jordan didn’t play a single second for the Miami Heat, but the franchise retired his No. 23 jersey in April of 2003 as a sign of respect to him and his achievements. This is the story of how and why that happened. “In honor of your greatness and for all you’ve done for the game of basketball - and not just the NBA, but for all the fans around the world - we want to honor you tonight and hang your jersey, No. 23, from the rafters,” Heat President Pat Riley said. “No one will ever wear No. 23 for the Miami Heat. You’re the best.” And that's why the Lebron never got the chance to wear #23. Pat Riley is a REAL ONE. Riley also told Lebron, to get out of his office when Lebron tried to get the then current Miami Heat coach fired.

Vlade Divac should've grabbed the rebound with two hands. Also, Chris Webber should've stayed with Robert Horry at the three-point line when Vlade slapped the ball towards the perimeter.

What class, integrity, and presence from both MJ and Pat Riley. Jordan summed up his perspective on winning and not winning. Wanting to win with his teammates and did not want such a spotlight because it was unjust/unfair from the ramifications of making mistakes. At this time he was already considered the greatest of all-time, now after winning 6 championships in 8 years. Encapsulates this interview as foreshadowing of what success means to MJ. It was always about winning with his teammates and respecting the opportunity of giving it your best all the time. The true sign of a champion even though in 1990-91 he was not a champion yet.

Mo Lucas the peacemaker lol. This was not only the dreaded turnaround Sampson shot game, but Kupchak's last game as a pro. Went out with arguably the worst punch in NBA history and then slugged Akeem's fist with this face. Classic. God bless Chickie Baby. The GOAT!

No one could call the action like Chick. The way he could call a play literally in real-time. There are many good commentators today but no one that really calls play by play. Chick was just next-level.

Such an amazing game. One of the best game 7's ever. It's too bad the NBA takes all recordings of this game down on RU-vid, yet refuses to make available on its site or even sell this game, so basically no one gets to watch it as it was originally broadcasted. If the NBA doesn't care to show it or sell it, why not allow RU-vidrs to show this classic game 7 on this platform? Makes no sense to me, but at least we get a little bit of Chick on this recording. Miss him so much.

This shows you how humble this dude is and all the great ones even outside of sports didn’t want the fame didn’t want the spotlight but that’s why they deserve it because they answered their personal calling an become legendary,,this is what takes away from a guy like Lebron because he doesn’t have that” thing” that makes you a timeless worldwide legend!
