I am a plank owner of and was qualified Shutdown Nuclear Reactor Operator on the U.S.Navy air craft carrier USS George Washington CVN-73. Thereafter I used my GI-Bill to obtain a bachelor's in Nuclear Engineer with a minor in microelectronics while building Pentium 2-4 processors in clean rooms of Intel Corporation from Portland, OR to Boston, MA. Sorry to hear of the mishap. How is the incubator working, anyway? It seems like your fertility rate is low-ish. Maybe the rooster better get on his game! Finally, this is definitely one of those times we can be glad "smellivision" hasn't been invented yet!

Hi Don 😁 yeah I agree, the smell was horrible 😷 As for the fertility rate, we think the heat, over 100 F down here plays a part, the layers are still youngish and the rooster is HeyHey, the chicken that was ADR... Soo hes still learning? The duck eggs, again heat, chicken harassment and cage rearranging .
🎉Firsties🎉Yay! Thank you my friend! Onward and upward😂 were only interested in expanding our Khaki Campbell ducks and Ayam Cemani chickens until we flock out around 20 hens and 10 girl ducks. That way we get about 3 dozen eggs a day.

I guess you could think of them that way, but every animal has a job. I am thinking of most of them as food....except the cats and dogs of course! And horse, and...😂

@@joangreene-ue4lm Yay! We are so happy to have more of these amazingly beautiful chickens. They don't lay as much as the other chickens so we would like a few more hens...plus we are playing with genetics now to try to breed the darkest chickens 😍😘

Sundry Tales Of Constance -- I learned a lot from your video. I've been searching for years, trying to find even a grainy photograph of the sliding door! I didn't know it had a rear handle. You can't believe what we've gone through to get in and out of our Westie while camping. LOL. If there's a book out there that has more information, I'd love to know about it. I'm getting ready to order the handle as soon as I hear back from the seller. Thank you for the video. Yes, it was dark, but I thought your family was sleeping, so I didn't mind. Should you record again in the light and give me a good look at the door, who knows what I may learn. Thanks again.
