Catlick from Liverpool here. We loved the bigotry back in the 60s real heathens we were. Used to wait for the lodge on top of the railway bridge at Rice Lane then pop up and hurl rocks as they marched under then leg it down the track laughing our cocks off - fookin' great days. Oddly enough uncle Mike used to take me and our kid with his family (staunch proddies) to Southport for the lodge gathering and the fair - brilliant day out. I still place "the sash" right up there as one of my fave tunes. The bigotry and associated thuggery between green and orange is much undervalued
I am speechless: what on earth is this noise & nonsense all about. Historically incorrect, divisive of communities in NI, an excuse for violence and religious intolerance. And you all revel in it. Small wonder this part of the British Isles has a history filled with hate and troubles. If you don’t sing a different song, your children will inherit this rubbish.
Can you please explain to me what part of this video displayed hate or religious intolerance because Im amazed at that statement you just made. You clearly haven’t a clue.
@@corymann674 To @corymann674 So, you’re amazed are you - YOU clearly haven’t a clue OR pretend not to. Some people buy into these displays, some hate them. THAT is my point + look back over many, many years at what happened BECAUSE of such parades. They are 100% divisive & calculated to be such. Two fingers up to the Catholic minority. Good, decent living people on both sides of the religious divide suffered ‘The Troubles for years’ and the World watched - right & wrong on both sides we know, AND in 2024 you’re telling me it’s harmless. Your lack of self-awareness astounds me ( a 79 year old Grandmother ) who suspects that basically nothing much will change and future generations will inherit this warped thinking and I weep for them.
Tell the idiot to watch pro-pally rallies in London, and if that dont fill his face full if tit, then its obviously a homegrown fith columnists traitor...
Not part of Britain, part of the United Kingdom. Scotland, Wales and England is Britain. Here endeth the history lesson. Poor Unionists in the North, searching for an identity. Northern Irish is your best bet. Ur not Scottish, Welsh nor English. Brits don't want ye either.
@@SeanMacOirc Part of the British Isles along with the republic of Ireland. Great Britain is Wales, England and Scotland. The United Kingdom of Great Britain is, Scotland, England, Wales and Scotland. Your talking a load gash.
@@JagerScot-01 Your talking a load of bollocks. I don’t need a geography lesson from you. Over here we have people driving around with GB stickers on their cars. We also have villages and towns considered for Britain Bloom competitions. It’s those you need to tell England, Scotland and Wales = Britain. Note I don’t refer to it as GB, cause there’s Fugh all ‘great’ about it. We Irish are an independent sovereign nation who have been colonised and invaded by planters, (.thieving, murdering bastards at that). It’s Not part of Britain. Regrettably it is part of the un-United Kingdom, but that will not be for much longer. Here e death the lesson!
1, you people are not British but part of the United Kingdom. 2, the battle of the boyne happened on the 1st of July not the 12th. 3, there was no white horse. 4, there was very very few ulster unionists actually took part in the battle. 5, William of orange fought with the pope for the Vatican against the English king but you claim the opposite. 6, if you ever went to England you would be treated as an Irish man. 7, if the British establishment could rid you off the pay roll they would. 8, the queen is truly horrified by your existence and your beliefs. 9, you are Irish. 10, it’s coming.
1, Wrong 2, The Boyne happened on the 12th in the Caesarian Callander 3, the white horse represents victory (it’s called mythology) 4, wrong, a large contingent of Inniskilleners and Derry men fought. Some of the most rousing speeches given and leadership shown was shown by Ulstermen Gustav Hamilton and Governor Walker 5,He did not fight “with the pope”, the pope took no sides during the Williamite wars. The pope funded William as it was geopolitical in his interests to stop Louis. 6, stupid stereotype made up 7, and why should we care about the British establishment 8, no she’s not, the queen is said to be very proud of Ulster Unionists, and the royal family incredibly fond of Ulster, seen by their many and regular visits. 9, if we are Irish you are british 10, another 100 years of Northern Ireland is indeed coming.
@@backbeat3451 Sure didn't Paisley say “ Never, Never, Never, Never” then sits in government with Marty! Tories have screwed yiz over again, England can't wait to ditch yiz, yiz are rubber ducked.
@junodarman4281 you know the thing is mate,I meant to say hear, but then again seeing as you know me so well you wouldn't get my superior sense of humour......unlucky ......
They won't stop marching in a UI buddy. They may even sing louder. Also nobody is voting to make themselves poorer in a UI. Better have the economics nailed down before the shinners even try.
