I don't race, but I do play pretty hard off-road here in Southern Nevada. I've been using a iPad with a really good screen protector and a couple tear offs and I use the combination of different maps like Gaia onX, etc..
@@DesertTheory yeah I really like you guys I like your energy plus it would be awesome If you guys made it back to Nevada like you did last year with Zach even though he’s just a millennial farmer lol.

If you tried driving 65mph at night with just your parking lights on, and then turned them off before a corner, you’d get an idea of what it’s like. In this clip, I was going very slow. Just before the thickest part of the dust, the corner started. I turned not really knowing the road was going to straighten out. It’s incredibly challenging!
I 100% agree. Driving in the dust is incredibly tough, especially when you can't anticipate what’s coming up-whether it’s a stopped car or a sharp corner. Qualifying higher next race is crucial for us, as it sets the stage for a smoother and safer run. Kelly and I learned a lot and have become much faster with this car.
Our race crew size varies based on the availability of friends and family, ranging from 2 to 20 over the past couple of years. With kids in sports, it can be challenging to coordinate.
Most "off road" fuels are dyed so police / dot can tell if your not using "on road" fuel from the pump On road fuel is taxed to hell and back Off road fuel isn't
It’s a rule for UTV’s in desert racing. Safety Lights Tail, Brake, Amber, Flashing Amber, Blue Flashing, Clearly Visible, LED 2000 Lumen, Wired to Battery Switch. It’s so we can see them in the dust.
1 seat is fun and gives a pure racecar experience. Sitting in the middle, seeing both tires in action, is amazing. But sharing that incredible experience with someone makes it even more special. Having a co-driver is great for changing tires, working on the car, getting unstuck, and staying on course.
That was a very sad story. We had a big ice storm come in and shut down Eugene. I am a power Lineman and it just didn’t feel right to leave my coworkers and our customers. Unfortunately we didn’t make the race!
