Something tells me that the animators for Wish felt the same way as Bart when he failed the test as I can imagine that like him, they tried so hard to make this movie work only for their efforts to go to waste for something many people disliked.
I remember watching all these episodes (the show premiered on my 11th birthday, 1989) and watching Bart's struggles hit home a lot. Currently, as a 45 year-old man, this still resonates and this moment still makes me cry.
@@thiefrulesI don't unfortunately. Judging by some of the comments talking about March Madness, it had to be sometime in late March. I checked my insta notifications to see if they went back that far because I remember getting my username mentioned by someone during the live. Unfortunately my notifs only go back to the last 9 weeks, so it's older than 9 weeks at least.
I can relate to this clip so much, I wasn't the greatest student I couldn't understand maths & still don't. I remember in high school needing a to pass a test worth 15% as my current grade was a D i tried so hard to study for it I spent an entire week studying it felt like torture (I'm a practical learner so maths is very hard on me). I did the test, felt confident that I at least passed with a C and it turned out I had the lowest score in the class resulting in a fail. I felt so disheartened that no matter how hard I try it will always result in failure, and in turn my dream of going to university died with it. I have been to two different high schools and both in terms of learning are the same. they only cater to those who can understand and learn the current material. Those who do not understand like myself are in turn ridiculed and left behind in a failing schooling system.
