I'm actually going on day 2 on making pauldrons with a tire but I'm using a hacksaw . I watched your video first and didn't realize how hard it was to hand cut through the metal but after 12 hours I removed the metal rings on both sides . I ruined 2 blades cutting through it and I did it with no power tools at all .my hands feel like their Ganna fall off but I got it done .now I just need to trim 3 sections of layers and bolt them together and bolt a few straps . The last part I want to do is put a half plate of armor for the chest but I'ma need another tire for that or I might just use metal .not sure yet .
Alternating rows of tempered fishing tackle split rings and solid steel flat washers is probably stronger than key rings. It actually seems that at the end of the chain mail age Afghans and Egyptians made mail using industrially produced western split rings.

You should create a shell covered on both ends by a thin membrane, perhaps sran wrap or paper, to hold a massive payload of BBs. The rain would be nuts, and the BBs would at least travel parallel to the Canon.
@@skyguy149 I try make slingshot rifle with rollers . Short construction but same power. I have same trigger. Shooting bb ,short arrows and darts from nail.
