Why? What's the point? Makes your travel rod take up much more space than i should which negates the point of a travel rod in firs place. All you need a is PVC tube with stoppers on end. You can buy them very cheaply on ebay etc. I go one for my set and my whole rod with tube fits in my backpack.

Would just under the front of the engine be too far forward on a jetski to mount the P79? It's almost exactly halfway between the bow and the stern. It would be difficult but it's the only flat space inside my ski.
