Sorry, but this method looks so stressful and dated and probably expensive too. I'd much prefer the kind where needle is hidden inside the device by giving a light press to prick. Needle is totally out of sight.
To lower the price, I had bought a promo box with 25 test devices/capillary tubes and 1 code chip and device insert. The price will be HUGE at the end: as I only do 2-3 test a year, the expiry date has now passed. I did not think this would prevent the machine from working but it is: code E-6 date expired and won't do the test!! SCAM! Is it possible to by pass this msg and do the test anyway? It is the user who should decide if doing the test despite expiry, NOT the machine. Any help appreciated...
The video shows the first result as the red line on the C (control) only, no color on the T (test) as being positive for covid???? That does not make sense! And it contradicts the diagrams on the box the test comes in which shows it as a negative test result.
I'm in Canada, and our nurses and nursing assistants are explicitly told to not milk the finger before the prick because it can potentially skew results for testing...

My finger cups refuse to bleed in the prescribed manner. 35 μl (microliter) of blood are required for the capillary tube to fill to the black line for the cholesterol test. It is impossible to collect more than about 8 μl of blood before a puncture stops bleeding. Additional milking (massaging and squeezing) has no effect . Manufacturer provided single usage lancet (actually a glucose lancet, no gauge indication) with twist cap and set at maximum penetration (5).
