hello John you're really skill at vector artwork I also notices you like to animate too im not sure if you're familiarizes with this program called Moho Pro 14 is an amazing 2d rigging and vector drawing program and it compatible with SVG programs such as Inkscape and affinity designer so you can make you're drawing inside of affinity and animate them in moho pro the program can be bit expensive if you're looking to do professional animations but if you just wanna do animate for hobby I recommend trying out the debut version or if not moho also comes with a 30 days trial so you can try out all the cool features it has I highly recommend It is perfect for anyone looking to do vector and cut out animations
I'd say, using pen tool you need to control the Béziers. which is very difficult to have a perfect geometry. Having shape builder that can subtract shapes is easier and more better aligned
Love this video, nicely explained! Been using Affinity (mainly designer) for a few years now, hate even opening Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop. However, many designers and agencies still heavily rely on Adobe, which is a shame and don't allow for flexibility.
Hi, I was wondering if you could share your workflow if you use Affinity? Like the draft, the type of canvas (72ppi, 300ppi, etc.), the settings for sketching, etc.? I have an old graphics tablet and I think I have the right settings, but I have a terrible sensitivity that makes my shapes look weird. So, I was wondering if it might be because of the tablet, since it’s old (Wacom CTH-460). The shapes don’t look good even with practice. I feel like I'm just drawing scribbles XD. I haven’t found any tutorials on Affinity for sketching, or maybe I’m not looking in the right place. Thank you, keep up the good work!

do you sell your designs on creative market or graphic river? if using affinity is better to use what extension? because I'm learning affinity right now to sell my designs on microstock...
For print work you should continue to use Coreldraw or Adobe software. The low cost software is just for creating art and doesn't tend to have any features for how things get printed.
Hello- When I click on the link to access the brushes you use in this lesson, it takes me to a site where your brushes are for sale. Which package of your brushes do I purchase to follow with this lesson on vectorizing hair?
Thank you for this detailed walkthrough of the Affinity Designer 2D to Blender 3D SVG transform process. I am also subscribing to support your efforts as well.
Adobe Illustrator + Astute Graphics is light years away in front on Affinity Designer. After Effects is a wonder. Substance 3D is also great. I will NEVER leave ADOBE. Just shut up!
a modern professional needs AI tools, the neXt step by affinity is provide a native plugin to import stable diffusion generations made on the same machine, locally
I have pro and cons about the current AI models, it's trained based on many people work without consent (opt-in) to train these database. I believe there is need to have proper regulations to get this not harmful to creators. if not, AI will just make our job useless, make our job less worth, and recreate all what we do.
You can do a very professional retouching with the color grading module in davinci resolve. If it work for video and movies .. It works for still shots.
