Hi Darryl. To start with I'm glad that you use Affinity Designer2 as it is what I use so your instructions should be easy to follow. Second, talking of decals, was it you who advised what font to use for the RoadCar "Connect" decals? When I got my new PC the font didn't come across with the software and the old PC had given up so I can't go in to it to find the name of the font. Also, I've just ordered a bottle of Isopropanol from Amazon. Like Daz, I have found that the Detol method of paint stripping doesn't work to well on BT Models.
Great. Many of us have used this method for the last 50 years although in my case I use a dense balsa wood for both the mould and former and heat the clear plastic under the kitchen cooker grill when household authority is out. It’s a far cheaper method and uses less clear plastic sheet although I’d be the first to admit that the vacuum method produces excellent result.
Great content on these videos. What program do you use for this video, please? Also, does anyone have any tips on stripping the paint from any of the BT Models Duple Dominant or Lodekka? Very interesting and effective although I suspect that very few of us have access to a moulding machine and there’s a lot of waste clear plastic sheet wise which doesn’t come cheap these days
