Alcoholics are always in recovery it's very rare that they stay away from alcohol. In my case the problem was so bad she needed medical attention to sober up. Then immediately drink when released, she even had to detox while she was pregnant, very horrible situation, she has already abandon children from previous relationship because of this problem

My life was on hold during the marriage do to non cooperation and now it was really dead in the water. Set a trial date. If that isn’t working or you get pushback, stand up and ask the judge for “adult supervision” of the attorneys. The point is embarrass the legal team to get it done. Next step is fire your lawyer, and file complaints with the bar. I was intimidated by the legal process because I was told the judge could divide the assets in any percentage he wanted. I was lied to. It has to be 50/50 split. Not timid any more!
