New subscriber here. Super incredible job on that unit!! I am building something similar but my timing went on my engine and I have not car until I can get the title for the car I just bought. Really sucks to be stuck and not be able to do everything you want!!!...Thank you for the warning on the cutting of the pipe!! I could see myself doing that..lol

Can we get more info about the weather stripping? You didn't mention it in the parts used list in the description.
@diylightguy
@diylightguy 23 часа назад
Oops, I forgot to mention that. It is an expandable 1“ x 1“ weatherstripping. I purchased it from Home Depot. I show a picture of the weatherstripping in the beginning of the video with all the parts laid out on the table.

Great setup and video. I’m a little confused why the mister step *and* the cooling step? Most people just do the latter. You said the mister makes it more dense. Is it a really significant difference from doing the cooling step only? Thanks
@diylightguy
@diylightguy 23 часа назад
@@chadtarver1522 both by themselves will work. I tried them both separately and for my situation, this was the best set up for me.

This is fantastic. What brand lasers are you using? Do they run different colors?

Silly question but what is the power supply for? I'm looking for a fix for my lights dimming from the fog machine running. Will this help
@diylightguy
@diylightguy 23 часа назад
The aluminum power supply you see next to the fog machine is for the ultrasonic pond mister in the tote below the fog machine

I'm amazed that you do not need a fan to move the fog that distance. Especially as it goes up and over the fence.

TY so much for sharing details on this setup! we are setting up the pond fogger the first time this year. What is the reason for the pipe going up and over the wall? was not sure if that was doing something or not.
@diylightguy
@diylightguy 21 час назад
The fog set up is on the side of my house and I had to get the pipes to my front yard. There’s a block wall and a gate blocking the path. I did not want to drill a 4” hole in the block wall or the gate, so I went up and over the wall. Also, my wife would’ve killed me 😂
@mastertee31
@mastertee31 7 дней назад
Is there a fan drawing the fog in somewhere? If not I’m shocked at how far the throw is on that without 😮 that’s gotta be about a 40-50’ run?
@diylightguy
@diylightguy 21 час назад
No fans, you are correct, it’s about a 30 foot run in the yard and about 10 feet to go up and over the wall

Great video! You should do a video showing the results of different ratios of glycerin to water! Like 10% glycerin, 25% 50% 75% and 100% just for fun. It'd be an interesting experiment and a cool video to show on the channel for people looking to create different thicknesses of fog! Love your videos!

What size cooler was used? Also, what size holes were drilled into the pvc for the fog to escape?
@diylightguy
@diylightguy Месяц назад
The first tub that it goes through is a 55 gallon tote filled with water with a 12 head pond mister inside of it. Then it goes into a medium sized cooler filled with frozen bottles of water. I did not drill holes in the pipes for the fog to come out. I use a circular saw and cut a channel along the edges so the fog can just roll out evenly instead of through a bunch of holes
