Is that Mayhem? Or Necro, Hellhammer(?) with some other guys; Euronymous and Dead were more or the less the driving forces of what became the quintessential Mayhem; it's not the same? Surely in a significant way-even if Dead held out 'til De Mysteriis d Sathanas, it could have stopped there, with the major contributors deceased long ago, I just don't feel it's the same thing. Unfamiliar though for the most part; know it's different, and unless some good word says otherwise I'll probably pass indefinitely.
Necrobutcher despite being drunk isn't wrong on black metal or any kind of metal. He's a true metalhead in my opinion and I say all metal bands shouldn't negotiate or come to terms and just release music.
You know, I actually got the chance to meet that dude. He's pretty chill man, talked and smoked out for a while. And yeah, Germany sucks for them! Mayhem rule! HAHA!
