I would not care. If you want more money your employer will give it to you with exchange of more work, responsibilities, and stress. So take your pick is all I have to say.
I live here in Vermont the work ethic amongst the school-age. The teenagers through the millennials is nonexistent. I’m a retired chef there’s standards there’s rules and there’s a pecking order in the kitchen. I had a job once probably 12 years ago where the previous staff was outraged that they brought in me who at the time was 58 they tried to make my life miserable and I finally stop what I was doing. Saw that they were wasting prep product saw that they were taking 2030 breaks a shift saw that just as the 5 PM shift started everyone bolted and took a 35 minute cigarette break, or they’re constantly on their cell phone now in the kitchen commercial kitchen there’s a method of introducing tickets there’s a method of cooking trying to coordinate multiple tickets instead of cooking one ticket at a time I would always be delayed because the salad person, dessert person or the dishwasher would all be behind in their tasks. If the dishwasher is behind them that means I don’t have any pans to sauté with and they honestly don’t give a crap when you say hey So and so I need sauté pans and I need them now and I see you standing there talking to the waitresses trying to make time with them, and if I don’t cook food, you don’t have a job, or let’s talk about the rampant drug use here in Vermont in the restaurant business. The same restaurant the salad and dessert person came in absolutely out of it and this was not on marijuana. This wasn’t on booze they were definitely on something they were hallucinating their horses around with knives and I said to the owner what are we going to do here? Well you know how difficult it is to get help. She says will just have to tolerate it, I just know I don’t tolerate horse play with knives in the kitchen. I don’t tolerate picking your nose or scratching your crotch and then touching food acceptable I basically packed up my knives. I wished her well and I left she says where are you going? He says I quit quit she says, but you left it here. All the customers come here because of your food I said that’s right they don’t come for the salads they don’t come from your store-bought desserts they come for my food. The problem is is your staff is always stoned your waitresses are rude and you’re oblivious to what goes on here. Nope So I took another position three times my salary and I worked until last July 2023. I retired in that month then exactly a week later the floods hit and I lost everything but my perseverance the work ethic today amongst the workforce is horrendous, but they want their paycheck they take their breaks they Daudle, what can I say? I’m enjoying my retirement reach video. Oh, by the way, I forgot something the same employees who dawdle, take dozens of breaks during the shift doesn’t tell anyone where they go doesn’t have a clue with food and sanitation safety always think that they’re more knowledgeable than the trained chef who has been doing their job for decades, we’re talking about teenage millennials, who have worked a prep table for six months now they believe they can run an entire kitchen due 160 covers per night, and call us experience chefs, the old geezers who need to get out of the kitchen and let the more experienced staff take over so I did an experiment one night. This one guy kept on giving me a hard time I’m much better than you I could run circles you know around you anyone can cook a steak or a burger it’s easy so I step back I just were going to swap jobs. I’m gonna do salads and desserts and I’ll let you run the main line, you’ll be the expediter and you’re gonna be in charge of all the char it was in five minutes and yeah he sending out raw chicken Rob workers under cook over cook steaks, forgetting to put the vegetables or the potatoes with the meal forgetting to call out the soups or the salads it became a huge cluster F. The owner comes back and says what’s going on Ron. I say, , Damien and I swapped stations, he thinks he’s more proficient with the hotline so Damien explain to Barbara why we’re having a cluster F tnite. Lmao
I'm fine with ads in the middle of a video, as long as you mark it off. If the first 5s don't appear pertinent to me, I'll just hit the right-arrow key several times until past it. Issue is if there's no bookmark or some method to denote it (ie: banner at the bottom, I can skip in necessary until banner goes away). Small amount of work to add a banner or to add the bookmark/time stamp feature. You get paid and if I'm interested, I'll listen, if not, I'll skip onto the content of yours that I like and am here to see/review.
Couldn’t focus on anything after “there’s rip rounds in my gun”. Rip rounds are complete garbage get your brother some decent carry ammo like federal hst or speer gold dot.
Most likely already been said. Wire Honda into truck batteries. For oil in GX 390 I used: AMS 0W40 ATV oil. Mine was running air compressor. Simple, reliable, cheap way for thawing most anything on a truck is bring a length of exhaust hose like found in auto repair shops. Long as truck engine runs you’ve got hot air . Hope this helps. Don’t know anything about septic business but I’ve been off highway equipment mobile mechanic for last 20 years in northern Alberta Oil Sands last 6 years self employed. Might find better results with Toyo tires, if rock damage is a concern with duals jump to a 245/70/19.5 the gap between tires is smaller & seems to hook less rocks. Other thing I’m sure you have/might have forgot to show would be an eye wash bottle.
First rule of dealing with someone saying "My XXXX is an attorney" is to ask to speak to that attorney directly. Most members of the legal profession will endeavor to be reasonable because they don't want to be dealing with legal bullshit unless they're getting paid significant sums of money to do so. (If you do manage to speak with someone claiming to be an attorney, ask which state they're barred in and what their bar number is.)
Once upon a time at the company I work for in the mountainous area in the south, a driver pulling a tanker took a side road to a plant he obviously never been to before and drove the transport down off the mountain as I was told. Having been to this plant myself probably with the same truck and trailer I can say it was an honest mistake. He was not fired. Management billed it as a lack of training. Maybe. I would say it was bad directions given to him. Either way he went from there on to bring a really good driver. I think the company insurance bought the trailer and sent it to be auctioned off. The company in turn hired someone to buy it back at the auction and then had it rebuilt. Makes cent$. The trailer was a specialty trailer that cost new would be hundreds of thousands of dollars and even a used one is well over a hundred thousand. Explains why they bought it back that way.
Ut oh. Its been about 25 years since i put in my septic system. My brother dug the hole for the tank and i built the drainage field. Only one person using it for most of the 25 years so yeah i probably need to check it.
My overtime pays my taxes on my 40 hours. Then at the end of the year i get to give back my refund from paying to much tax to pay the taxes the IRS wants from my social security check i get while im still working at 69. $5000 last year. Yes its a good idea. My idea that i think is good too is it took me 3 months to get a CDL to drive a semi truck meeting other cars and trucks driving the opposite way st 55 mph a few feet apart. Pretty dangerous i would say. So why would getting a boat captain license take so long? I'm 69. I have to have a year of being a seaman and have been one in the last 90 days and other requirements. Seems awful long time just to get a small boat to take passengers for one say 10 people for hire. Or maybe a small boat carrying freight like 2000 pounds down a river. Seems like there needs to be a different license scheme líke a CDL offers. I should be able to get a captains license to carry 80,000 pounds of boat and cargo in 3 months training. I contacted my congressman and hear nothing, nada, zilch back. I hear ya.
I enjoyed the video. Now if you could help me find a beautiful wife that would be great. Not asking her to be bring in money but that would be a plus. As long as i can stay working, im 69 hazmat truck driver, i make enough. Currently home every night. Thanks. You sound like a much much better than just a good boss.
I could not deal further with this customer, you were far more patient than I would have been. Sidenote, imagine being married to this kind of woman... Thoughts like this make me glad I'm single and not in a hurry to find a girlfriend.
They are only choosing to move forward on the absolute rock solid cases to ensure their high rate. My buddy is a OB/GYN... He says this happens all of the time where OB/GYNs try not taking pregnancies with complications or older women.... Fun fact - An OB/GYN can be sued for a birth injury up until the child is 18 years old. That is the main reason why they typically have the highest insurance rates.
I never could stand messy workers. I worked in a cabinet shop, and 2 of the other builders were slobs, Tools and everything else just scattered. If I had to help them in their area on a job , It frustrated me to no end. But if they helped me in my area they could what they needed easily. Being organized saves time and looks a lot more professional.
I found out 11 years ago i was going to have a son, and i stepped up from doing whatever i want to build a future for my child. I would work 80 hour work weeks, 3 jobs (one full time and two part time) and with no days off i would work non stop, only break i got was to shower and change between each job. I would rack my brain trying to figure out how to make more money to be able to make rent and cost of living and would always be staying level. My family doesn't have money, and neither does my wife, so we are all on our own . She took the first 3 years to stay at home with our son. 3 years ago, while working my full-time pest control job, my clients would complain about the iguanas, or raccoons, or some other vermin. I checked with my boss, and he wanted nothing to do with it, so i asked him if i could as long as it doesn't interfere with my duties to his company. So i gave people quotes, and they hired me, first for a few weeks, then a few months, then a few years. In my first year, i made $30,000. my second year, i made $60,000, and in my third year, i made $150,000 and quit all of my jobs, and went into business for myself. this year, I look to make $200,000 and have been able to buy a house, pay off all my debts and my wifes, and still have savings. Oh, and i have weekends and vactions now too.
I support you putting ads on products but I'd prefer if you would do honest reviews like if it's product you like and you give your honest opinion on it that would be the best part of it
Just a technical note: The sound volume on some of your videos is low. I don't know what you use to edit the videos, but if there is a "Normalize Audio" feature, you should try normalizing it to -14 dbfs. If it doesn't, it probably has some way of boosting the audio level of the whole track.
