Thanks for this video! I was able to get the new buttons out of the backplate no problem using the screwdriver trick. To get the buttons to attach I put clear silicone caulking on the back of the button. Next press it securely onto the climate control unit, then let the caulking dry for 30 minutes (driving might vibrate the buttons off).

How long was it on the car in time? What temps did it see do you suppose? Was there any ceramic on the paint?

It looks like "2mm thick pad" is the "replace" point if I'm reading that right. How thick is new? And how do you measure the rotor?

Great video and lovely S2 and E46 M3! The total amount of oil (without draining VANOS, etc.) should be 6.5L and from the bottom of the dipstick to the top marker should equate to 1L, not 1 quart.
