Sorry it took so long but not this del sol I still have my Crx and I’ve matured a lot since this video! I’ll be back making content soon with me cars and possibly a crazy build on my Crx
Damn dude I was about to say something but then I took a step back and realized we all do dumb shit when we're younger so honestly big props to you from growing out of that really immature care enthusiast phase. I know how it is cause I used to be a ricer too but I've been doing performance mods on my 2018 civic hatchback sport now.
For sure man I love the memories cuz now im definitely in a whole different mindset but if it wasn’t for this I wouldn’t be who I am now. I own over 12 cars and know so much more then what I did I need to get back at it lol
No gloves, no safety glasses, no grinder guard, cutting the bottom of the spring. Complete hack job 🤦♂️ poor del sol. It’s probably in a junk yard somewhere now
I just rescued a 2000 Miata with 120k miles that had been sitting in a neighbor's driveway for at least the five years that I've lived here. She signed it over to me and said get it out of here today. My son and I aired the tires and pushed it home to my place. Very lucky it was downhill to my garage. It was filthy but undamaged. Doors were glued shut with dirt and mud from being under trees and rain. Tons of debris all over and under in every crevice. Squirrel Hilton under the hood. Tires drove like they were square. The drive to get new tires was...breathtaking. Oil and coolant were fresh! Clutch good, brakes good. New tires, battery, some gas and spark plugs, AND a lot of scrubbing and it fires right up. AC needed a squirt and is now cold. Best smile generator and so many thumbs up on the road. It still needs a lot of detailing. My only regret is I didn't document it all. P.S. The power antenna still works, too.
Loved mine! I bought on with 290,000 miles for $700 when I turned 16. I put under glow lights on her, a star light headliner, heated seats, ect. It lasted me till I was 20, and it would have lasted longer if it wasn’t stolen at one point. I got her back, and I was so happy. I was driving it from Colorado to Arizona, and one day my radiator went out in the middle of no where will it was 112* F. I waited for one of my buddies to tow me, but at that point my head gasket was blown. I went about 6 months without a car in college, and finally found a 05 Civic that is also a 5 speed, and it only had 80,000 miles on it. I’ve done the same mods to it and have taken good care of her, but I miss my 98. I’m considering selling my 2005 which is in great condition for a project 5th Gen hatchback or coupe. But it is a very reliable first car, I loved it so much that I want to step back into one.
