Please don't misunderstand. I love Messi. I will always support him. However, one man, no matter how great he is, doesn't make an entire team. I've seen InterMiami win a game without him. Messi is human like you and me. I would be happy enough to show up to support InterMiami. If you support the team, you are showing Messi that you support him. I'm sure he understands.
The fault and frustrations should be with the MLS clubs and venues selling the tickets at inflated prices. At the very least, perhaps they could have some sort of ticket buyer protection implemented to offset some of the "grief". These guys are on the back end of their careers and have been very transparent with their dislike for artificial surfaces and the potential increase in sustaining injuries. Disappointing from a fan' perspective having wanted to see them play? Sure, but this is NOT on the players.
Me and my 3 friends paid nearly $1400.00 for 4 tickets, $500.00 for hotel room, $300.00 car rental and $400.00 for meal and other accumidations. In total about $2600.00 to see Messie in Vancouver, BC. He didn't show up. That was sad, but we made the best out of it. Vancouver defiantly changed. It used to be low vibration boring city. Now, with a lot of new people filling the downtown streets, it looks more like New York.

Ronaldo is my choice because if his leadership abilities and ability to inspire his team mates, and many times in the really big matches, singlehandedly win games against the best of teams. It is not rule that should have been implemented at all.We know that they want to keep the game going without too many hold ups but, when it penalizes the team that was fouled it doesn't make any sense .I see in the near future the league will do away with this( messed up rule) as they should .

Only in this country they would change the rules of a sport played all over the world. Seasons are not like other countries, therefore making transfer markets stupid, now this rule! It has to be a stupid rule, the team who gets foul is now down 10 men while the team commits the foul continue to proceed with 11 players for 2mins they just inspiring players to commit more fouls and not to try have less dirty foul.
Well, we know that concerning to certain worldwide accepted regulations, the USA always wants to be "original." If they want to change things in sports, why don't they start calling American football American Handball? I think that will describe the nature of the game much more accurately. Fifa should be the only one to dictate or change new regulations in the real FOOTBALL. That is an international organization and that says it all.
