On a whim i decided to watch through dot hack sign and once i figured out that the story continues into the games I wanted to find a summary or playthrough of the events of the game and I was very happy to find your channel and these videos! I very appreciate the work you put into making these very quality videos on each game as well as the liminality ovas. keep making great content!
There might be, when I access enemies it doesn't reveal hp but attacks that go off do have numbers and there is an achievement for hitting certain points of damage.
I was tempted to do those as well as the Another Birth novels but for that I would need to brainstorm another method of how to do those videos from how I've setup other Full Story videos.

Hey, uh, one thing I just wanna say given the oppurtunity. Apparently, CC2's Little Tail Bronx series has a number of .hack references, or at the very least Solatorobo and Fuga reuse some assets and designs from them. I think Solatorobo even jokes that one of the villains from the series helped destroy the world. They're pretty obscure games themselves, anyways. See if you can check them out sometime.

It's sad that they never put .hack// Liminality DVDs on there own separate DVD cases. And the only way you can buy this Anime on DVD nowadays, is if you find someone selling the DVDs separately. Or you have to buy the 4 .hack// IMOQ PS2 games. Honestly if they were to bring back the IMOQ games for modern game consoles, they should being back the .hack// Liminality DVDs that come with each game. That would be something that Bandi Namco and Cyber Connect 2 should invest in doing for old and new .hack// fans to get into/back into the original series.
Just got into .hack, watched sign and watched your .hack playlist. I think you did a great job at making the video and explaining the story without losing a lot of the tension. Keep up the good work.
Thanks so much for making this. I knew there was always something profound about this series. Mutation was the only one I had as a child lol. I', playing thorugh the games on my steam deck now. I'm picking up alot more of the story from your videos and will be watching the infection story next.
So, this is my first time learning what actually went on in these games. All of my knowledge is a small part of G.U., and the Legend of Twilight manga. Watching these is really helping me connect dots that ive just had hanging for awhile.
This game is such a product of its time and yet years ahead. I've been running TTRPG games based off this game since it came out (where the players are the characters and are in a game world). Thanks for the breakdown! It's great to just refresh once in a while.
Thanks for the whole series! Loved the nostalgia all the way through and your use of the OST. Maybe next time you could potentially add cutscenes with the characters original voices!
Can i just say, the ost to this whole series is a damn bop. Jesus JRPG's just dont do it anymore. This was just a parody of one online and it's more memorable than any recent MMO's ive ever played. Insane.
nice to see story done up in video, i dropped the series i was just not fan of combat, i found it very boring and repetitive, i loved the story i just couldn't with game play.
Yeah the combat wasn't one of it's strongest elements, if it made some sort of improvement between the four games would be nice but also might take away that you're playing an mmorpg in a specific era
21:38 and important thing of note with this dungeon. First of all level your friend up! Two! Avoid as much combat as you can as there are ALOT of Data Bugs here. Think of it as a first lesson in managing your data draining, data drain too much and you could get a system failure/game over.
Very awesome, still, though that is a very weird ending. Wouldn’t wouldn’t she therefore be re-creating Cubia by giving you the bracelet again? Hmm. That’s an unusual plot hole lol.
Again, I enjoy the videos, but Kite's weapon isn't a "dagger" it's called a "Short sword" a dagger is more like a long knife, small enough usually to pocket. That's a short sword, hence why he has sheaths for them both.
Very cool, rundown one thing I would like to correct though it wasn’t a “vaccine” those power up bonuses. It was something that the character would open, and then equip, then it would delete the character. Every time you run into the issue of installing it, is because the bracelet is too powerful for it to be overwritten. The only way to get rid of the bracelet is to destroy it. No programming can overwrite it.
