My grandmother had dimentia. It was awful to watch her change into something that wasn't her and forget us and everything. Hearing sigma makes my heart ache because of this.
The Sombra interaction is so wholesome and sad:/ It’s cool because in the Latin culture, we definitely cherish our grandparents a lot . And we go above and beyond to make them feel seen and loved. And the voice actor does a really good job of depicting that
Quick question for some lore lovers: was Operation Retribution the ‘what we did in Hanamura’ that Cassidy mentions? Or is it something else? I didn’t think that operation where reaper went rogue was in Japan, but I can’t think of anything else that fits.
Fun fact. Before the introduction of Moira, there was heavy lore implications through pre-match interactions that reaper got his powers because of Mercy's failed attempt to save him like the time she asked what happened to him and he replies with a simple "You tell me, doc."
Ok.. that is true but, what has Moira got to do anything with it? Were you intending on mentioning the part of the lore where she was experimenting on Reaper in Blackwatch (if I recall correctly) before the Overwatch headquarters collapse and the entire organisation with it?
Honestly, I wish they'd kept it as it was originally. It was such a cool interaction and the implications were amazing. It added a ton of depth to both Mercy and Reaper. It wouldn't even change much about the dynamic between Moira and Reaper - He'd still be her patient under Talon.
I mean... This interaction could be about the fact that Moira actually uses Angela's biotechnologies, so it's kinda obvious that Mercy MUST know what happened to a Reaper.
I don't really like how they made her voice so enthusiastic in OW2. She lost the calming, soothing trait she had in OW1. We need her old voice lines back 🥲
The way many of her sad lines aren’t even really about her… I get the feeling Angela shoves down her own emotions and pushes through so that she can be available to help others instead. Never opens up about herself, just tries to make herself open for others to go to. Like a coping mechanism for loss.
Its really the mindset for alot of people in the medical field. Why do you think alot of doctors and such are more likely to be victims of substance abuse? They bury everything down.
@@AdhvaithSane I'd just prefer something more creative than a pun so ridiculously on the nose that it would send any normal human into a state of fury upon hearing it.
Unfortunately, RU-vid has labeled my videos as stolen content (even if I credit everything; they don't care); they refused all the applications I have sent them, so all the effort I put into these videos is going unpaid. I genuinely enjoy creating these kinds of videos but I am making no money, so as much as it hurts me to ask, I need your help and support. I will start streaming Overwatch gameplay on Twitch for 5 hours on schedule, so if you want to support me, please follow my twitch, or else I'll have to abandon RU-vid entirely. I am sorry, but I really tried convincing RU-vid, but all the roads are blocked off, so support me on Twitch. Thank you so much! Twitch: www.twitch.tv/olivia_sombra
i have no clue of overwatch lore but from this alone i can deduce that she purposefully wants moira to remove her feelings so she can stop feeling the pain from whatever happened to gerard similar to a character im writing
