CAUTION GUYS….. windsor is soon turning into MIDDLE EAST REFUGEE HUB ….. plus with Restrictions on student visas the student influx will come down Plus Windsor’s extreme property taxes and poor salary levels is already resulting in poor rentals …. Most of the windsor realtors , GTA investors have already pushed the prices soooo high that no one is able to afford …. The quality of tenants is quite bad and hard to maintain rental or even own property as labour is sooo expensive and most of the are scammers taking advances and not turning up or turn up to work to spoil the work…... STAY AWAY FROM INVESTING IN REAL ESTATE …. Conservative government in coming days would make the house prices to go further down with even more population controls etc
This is the way to destroy the neighbourhoods by creating rooming houses in residential neighborhood and for sure most of these rooms are illegal and the neighbours are annoyed by the amount of people coming and going and the amount of garbage outside and the pathetic condition of the house and the lawn outside.

Since purchasing under my name would require paying the 20% foreign buyer tax, can I buy the house under a relative's name who is a Canadian citizen? My wife and I would be responsible for paying the mortgage, and we would prefer not to include my relative as a co-borrower. Is this possible?
