Moving from Corporate life to Cruising on a yacht. We are a young couple looking to live life in a different way. Riding the waves and walking the beaches of the world. This is a story of our adventure from the very beginning.
Lovely tour video guys! As a fellow Passport owner (we have the 42!) we know how well built and beautifully crafted they are! We made a tour video of our boat too, it’s always fun to take a peek: Passport 42 Sailboat Tour ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aoBdlyHaDJE.html
sorry to say but this video is less than amateurial. No wind shield produces horrible audio, no coherent narrative, no decent camera work. Good luck guys but I guess you need to improve quality!
1:39 So many cruisers hated their tiny double sinks and replaced with big deep single sinks, like laundry tubs. 7:02 that's not pilot berth. Should be another head between Nav station and the quarter berth?
just saw this for the first tme. You guys where so easy and normal to watch wish you would have continued. Good luck to you. both for whatever you do stay safe cheers.
Indeed, nice personalities. Appreciative of what they have experienced and learnt from it. Humble people really, sharing an adventure rather than running a travel vlogging business.
Thanks for the kind words. We have made a tree change to farming. It’s been a massive adventure here too. We will pick this channel up soon for farming.
I don’t know if I like the long walk through to the heads past people sleeping I guess there’s a square bucket somewhere, galley and the salon is faultless.A fine review thanks
I ended up here watching the Solo trailer about the guy who tried to cross this ocean in a kayak and holy wow! The guy was either crazy or determined to accomplish something almost impossible.
Beautiful boat, you have done a great job keeping her "shipshape"! We owned your boat from 1994 to 2005. You will miss her as we did when you sell her.
Oh no...I just subscribed and you’re already selling??? 😂 Such a great story, I’m so impressed. I’m in Newcastle Harbour and Lord Howe is always calling.....heck even Broughton is calling...me and my Cav32 are just rubbish. 😂
haha, oh no! Thank you so much! You must get to Lord Howe and Broughton, they are both some of our favourite places:) Cav32's are wonderful boats our good mates that we sailed with from Tonga to Vanuatu had a Cav32. They live on it in NZ!
They are amazing boats. We never doubted her, ever! We are selling her. We'd rather see her out on the ocean again then sitting in a Marina. She's to good for that. Thank you so much! We've worked really hard to make her nice. She's been home. :)
gowan8 they are wonderful, sturdy, forgiving boats and we absolutely LOVE our Passport 40. It was our first sea crossing and we think sometimes it takes really putting the boat (and ourselves!!) in the situation and experiencing it first hand to trust that both of us can do it. We knew the boat would make it. She’s the best!
Hey guys, always great to hear from you. Hope all is well and life’s being good to you both. I’m still in the USA with Pam and we’ve narrowed it down to around 5-6 yachts now! Yachts are always a compromise but we’re hoping to finalise purchase by May. How’s the Passport going? it’s still no 2 or 3 on our short list. I’ll flick you a text or email once we see who wins the boat argument and we’ve made up OUR minds. Cheers, Dale and Pam (and Mouse).
Dale Parker that’s great news! It’s so good to hear from you! Which ones are you looking at? We love our Passport. She was brilliant to cross the Tasman on. We’re so pleased to hear the three of you are well. Definitely flick us an email and let us know what you’ve been up to! K&B
Good video, good production. Love it. We are on the under 50's group with you. Hope to see more videos when you release them so we subscribed. All the best. Lauren. PS would be good to get some info about Forster from you at some point.
Thank you so much! We're trying to learn more as we go so the videos should get better. I'm just putting the new video up now! If we can give you any information from anywhere we have been along the coast, don't hesitate to ask! <3 Thanks for watching!!!
DIYSailboatGuy thank mate. If you want to have a chat about the passports before you buy one let us know. There are a few common problems that you need to be careful of. We love ours! Great boats:)
