I agree. This show had huge potential, but the half assed script, the barely average quality plot, the main characters barely showing development (for example D’jok being 8 years into his career in addition to his original age, still acted in an immature way throughout until the last couple of episodes where he finally developed a sense of understanding and respect), and the screen time wastage is what killed it for me. When I was a child I was fascinated mostly by the football in the show, the graphics, and so will a child nowadays, but I can’t help and say that they recycle scenes and barely focus on the football side of things due to the aforementioned reasons. My take on it, with more football focus, is that the Snowkids don’t win in S1. They qualify for the big tournament, they either reach the quarter or semi finals, but still lose due to their inexperience. Which prepares for a great S2; as the Snowkids are a better team in terms of chemistry and experience after 4 years, and have a bigger urge to win the championship. Which they still barely but deservedly do if we go with how powerful the Xenon’s were in S2. In S3, I loved the different championship and the player swaps idea, and would definitely keep that aspect of the plot but refine it. Afterwards, they realize how they missed playing together and do so for the second cup. Though, along the way most of them plan on doing something else after winning the cup (the training center is a good idea for example). With the second cup win and individual ambitions seemingly achieved, the show can end on a high or maybe continue for a S4.
U know it's insane if Envi kept his mouth shut he would've never lost all his viewship and receive nothing but backlash nowadays and nobody feels sorry for him since he did this to himself by being so sensitive and bringing up PAST stuff and then talking about Tectone's EX marriage that had NOTHING to do with him especially after we found out all the shit Fream did to Teccy in which Teccy literally never voiced it to avoid her getting backlash even tho she was the worst and cheated on him. Like Envi and Ratsu act like arguments doesn't happen in relationships is insane to me but the fact he called everything he's been through as "PTSD" makes me upset for the ppl that ACTUALLY has PTSD. I'm surprised he hasn't been crying on stream yet cuz nobody really watches him anymore and his comment section is destroyed beyond belief yet he refuses to apologize like everyone will forget. We won't forget since u chose to show your true character, u were just embarrassing yourself and Teccy was mostly asking him stuff to make sure he doesn't lose his viewship while he was streaming yet he took everything personal like DAMN how much of a pussy do u have to be? It was so busy at the start in 2002-2005 the cities were packed it was such an exciting time to be playing a new kind of game! Pretty hardcore by todays standards in terms of complexity and sheer grinding levels over 300 by far!
Envy had a breakdown when he "beat the game" that tectone congratulated him for doing so and offered to spend money on his account as a "reward" and instead of saying no thanks i want to remain free to play, he had a meltdown. I cant recall what he said but i think it was that tectone was bullying him to force him to not be free to play or something similarly stupid.
EA can basically remaster this game and remake it if they wanted to since they only license now ever since pandemic had shut it down not only that they do have the license that they still renew today which is known as mercenaries 3 the demo for online
When Tectone talks, he does kind of yell so I can imagine to someone who is soft spoken, that can come off as "angry" but really the way he talks about him in this thread just make it sounds like he wants to suck Tectone off...

It was a bad faith attempt to make him look bad by mint picking a clip in which he is being bantery with his wife (After you've read How's hes a terrible person) so you'd feel like it was more than it actually is.
