You might find jogging down is what gives you the lactic acid its due to concentric muscle contractions. If you like them type of runs i recommend the snowdonia marathon, I've done it 3 times, there is 1 very steep section and the last mile down is a killer.
Hi. Not on the same route. The alternative shorter ferries are Belfast to Cairnryan in Scotland, Dublin - Holyhead, or Rosslare to Fishguard. There used to be a 99 minute SeaCat between Holyhead & Dun Laoghaire some years ago. Hope you have/had a great trip.
