This is the only song of hers that I have ever heard, (that I'm aware of). I hadn't heard it in years but stumbled across it again a couple of months ago and have been playing it often since. I just noticed this evening that she had passed away back in 1979 and it ripped me up. Just 31 years old. All along I had assumed she was still with us. Such a beautiful song. Such a beautiful lady. Such a short life. I'm a 60 year old male with 10 children and very sensitive about, and attached to, all of them. This song always spoke so perfectly to my affections for my sons and daughters. I always thought it would be the perfect lullaby and also just recently found out that was it's original purpose. I can't imagine what it was like for her husband to lose such a "real" person, because they are not easy to come by in either gender. Rest in peace and Godspeed sister. You left hole that nobody else can fill.
