Nice comparison. Looked off and on over several months to pick up and it’s never in stock. Even looking on their drop days they are always gone. I question their strategy of artificial scarcity and believe they would sell many more packs if they just stopped the shortage game. Bought an Aer Ultra bag and am very happy with the quality, weight and functionality.
It took me maybe 3 months of trying before getting the 30L. I did sell that to get the 36L. I was fortunate enough to get the 36L ok launch day. It’s not a strategy. They literally make as many as they can. Then release the batch on Wednesdays. The packs and company is good enough where demand has just stayed high. That said, the AER is a great brand and I’ve had my eye on their ultra collection as well. But I will say it’s no where near as light or as good for hiking. But still excellent for EDC and travel.
Nice review. I looked at a lot of bags over the past week. I just ordered the 30L ULA Dragonfly and a "flat tire". 36L is too large for what I need. Love it that it is so light. Coming off back and knee issues I won't load it up too much anyway. Looks versatile. Short haul walks, hikes, a little photo equipment. I think tis will fit what I'm looking for.
Hello! Really good video. Good work. 👍🏻 The channels on the front are to be able to tuck away the straps on the front I think. Looking forward to more videos from you. ✌🏻
