Hi guys. My name is Bianca and I am a self taught crocheter. I started learning to knit and macrame at first and then crocheting. On this channel I hope to share my designs and also to recreate items that are popular with crocheting.
I'm still confused on what to do for starting to cups. It's shown a little clearer at 6:40 but I still can't figure out where exactly to insert my stitch after the first double crochet. What is the increase we're supposed to do?
You're going to make the chains for your strap first then chain 3 more. In that first chain that started the chain 3 you're going to make a dc (row 1). In row 2, you're going to start with 2/3 chains, in the same spot where you made the chain 2/3 you're going to buy a dc which will now start your increases. At the end of the row, you'll make 2 dc in the second chain of the chain 3 that you made after the chains for the strap.
I would suggest using a measuring tape, to measure from your nip to under your bust and multiply the measurement you got by 2. So for eg you get 4 inches then that would be 8 inches

The number of chains that you make should be divisible by 3 without any remainder. When that's done you're going to chain 1 or 2 as I did when I turned my work. That chain 1 would just be the starting chain for the other row.
