Dear Dreamy Rimma, Sitting here watching your latest video, i have just finished a baked potato and about halfway through a vegetable and fruit smoothie. It seems as if you are always preparing some kind of meal to share not only with your friends and loved ones but also those who watch your videos and take note of the ingredients you use. You speak of the real reason you have relocated masking it with many other secondary points to ponder for a move away from home. The medicinal rose coupled with some type of oriental arts can certainly play a role in relieving stress in a person's life. If I were to relive my life to get to where I am now, I would certainly add jui jitsu to my library of skills. The physical and mental discipline would complement my country easy-going life. How? Do you ask? The mastering of physical skills has a way of healing damage caused by high-stress and negative activities. I mention jui jitsu only because it is one of many ways a person can indulge in a productive physical and mental routine. Currently, I simply have a regular routine in a local gym along with the many chores around my country home to keep me active and alert as I am resisting my body's attempt to age. I look forward to hearing more of your involvement with the arts as you learn more yourself.🤸‍♀🏖

Dearest Dreamy Rimma, You have the best fruit and vegetable markets there. Beautiful, healthy produce. When you left Ufa, I thought you left Russia altogether because of the special operations. I didn't know you stayed in Russia and left Ufa for medical reasons. Maybe you are close to Sochi now? I know Sochi is an expensive city to live in. Wherever you are you are in a much warmer climate on the Black Sea. It's nice that you don't have to deal with the harsh winters now. The climate you're in now is very beneficial for healthy living. Many people here in the U.S. move down south for the health benefits. As we get older we suffer more from joint and bone problems. Arthritis is very painful and in cold climates can be unbearable. It was fate that you moved to the warmer climate and it was fate that you met the right kind of doctor and became good friends. I love it when fate steps in and helps good people. You and your husband are very good people and beautiful souls. ❤ Your cooking always looks so tasty and delicious. You're not only an artist in the kitchen but with the camera also. You're so talented Dreamy and yes, you can get fermented milk here along with , buttermilk, sour cream, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc. I think your produce markets are better than ours here though. It seems Russians eat better and less processed foods than we do here in America. Most, not all, Americans are in such a rush, they get something quick and on the go to eat. Many don't take the time to pick out their food and prepare their own meals. It seems like , with every generation, the art of cooking is becoming a lost art, sadly. These lifestyles lead to hypertension, high cholesterol and in some cases, illness and pre-mature death. It would be nice to hear more about your new home and your husband's story. It's so nice to see him. You and he make a beautiful couple.❤ We don't know much about your husband, he seems to be a more shy type or maybe just camera shy? I look forward to hearing more about you both and the beautiful place you now live in. I hope you both are healing and feeling much better.❤ Love and hugs to you both, always.🤗❤️🙏-----Steve.

Here in Russia, people very often eat on the go too. the younger generation doesn't really like cooking. That's why I want to share very simple recipes that even a child can cook. @@DreamyRimma Can I add a question? (Rhetorical;) Is it true that there is very little accent variation in Russian language? For context, one can pinpoint a German speaker almost to the exact position of a street crossing or tree. Well, that is artistic exaggeration but you get the point… So, can you hear the difference of home and the black sea Russian?
@DreamyRimma
@DreamyRimma День назад
@@thomasruckstuhl9980 yes, of course, there are many variants of the Russian language in different regions. In Ufa, we speak like in Moscow - this is such a classic Russian pronunciation, as on central television (except for some Tatars and Bashkirs who just speak with their native accent, like my dad and village relatives in particular). There are regions, very close to Moscow even, and they speak there, pronouncing the letters in a completely different way, like in the old days or in fairy tales. Here, on the Black sea, there is also a slight accent and its own dialect. I would say that in those regions where there is a dialect of Russian, the language is more soulful and fabulous, it is a pleasure for the artist. It's heard in folk songs especially. you asked the wrong question😅I can talk endlessly about this. I was passionate about proverbs and saying in my youth.

In Western Europe, rose oil from Bulgaria is used as this is the most famous. They use far more flowers in Bulgaria than what you've tried. I copied some information below to give you an impression of how this is done by professionals. As you will see, you have been a bit late in the year and it should be harvested in the morning. Good luck for your activities next year 👍😍and a strong smell for all your rose oil. The roses bloom only once a year. The harvest period is in late May, early June The rose petals have to be collected between 5 and 11 am After noon the concentration of rose oil evaporates from the petals and part of it goes down to the stem To produce one kilogram (1200 ml) of rose oil is necessary around 3500 kilograms. It makes one and a half million of petals The price of one kilogram of rose oil is between 6500 and 7000 euro Main buyers of Bulgarian rose oil are France, the USA and China The main role of the rose oil in the perfumes is to fix the smell on the skin

Dearest Dreamy Rimma, Sorry for the late response. Even in Ohio we're experiencing the effects of the hurricane that hit the southern U.S. We have trees and power lines down around here. Internet is spotty at best. The last time we experienced the effects of a hurricane like this was about 20 or so years ago. Anyway, I have never heard of rose petal jam or tea. Interesting 🤔. You're cauliflower, broccoli 🥦 , tomato, pepper and cheese dish looked very tasty and delicious 🤤. That vegetable market looked so good. That little girl putting that cucumber in that bag was adorable 😊. I think you are a good poet. You do have a way with your words. I know some things, some feelings cannot be put into words but you find a way to express your thoughts, feelings and emotions through your actions. The way you walk, talk, interact with nature as well as others. I am not surprised that many women showed up for your meeting at the park. When your feelings are genuine and your intentions are pure, I am not surprised at all. One thing I know you and I have in common is that I think we both could talk each others ears off. 😊 You can tell sometimes by my lengthy responses 😂. I can talk a lot, that's for sure but my grandmother and my father had taught me to be a good listener also. I used to talk my grandmother's ears off and she would sit and , not only listen but pay attention, be genuinely interested in what I and others had to say. That was the kind of person and gentle soul she was. She was a wealth of knowledge but always wanted and willing to know more, even when she was in her eighties. No matter who was talking to her, she had love, kindness and understanding in her eyes. She was genuine. You remind me of her in many ways. I think, I may be wrong but as I get older, I think I tend to listen more and talk less. Well, at least to listen more.😊 Again, I am not surprised that you had many women join you in the park. It may be hard to put some things into words or to describe thoughts, feelings and emotions but you are a wonderful poet. Not only with words but in your style, your smile, your beautiful, caring and attentive brown eyes. Your ability to listen, to care and continue to learn. It's in your heart and in your soul, it's who you are. A beautiful caring, genuine human being. A beautiful poet, of not only Russia but the whole world. 🌍 Take care and always my love to you, your husband and your beautiful family ❤️. Many hugs and love💕❤😊. May God bring us all peace soon.-----Steve.😊

Just like your grandma.. We were lucky to have such grandmothers. Not everyone had them. And this is a great gift, for which I am very grateful. That's why I really understand you.

Dear Dreamy Rimma, This is early in the morning just after breakfast, and I see you cooking and preparing meals. I think you enjoy creating healthy meals from a variety foods. Then you created a rose-pedal jam. not sure if it was for eating or for fragrance in the air? Either way it seemed to be like an aphrodisiac or at least some kind of incense to affect your sensual pleasure. My first thought was to question if this was a one time thing or have you experienced this more than once? Although all people are different, I think most people can get along if they try to understand each other. Conflict usually develops from misunderstanding or sometimes a lacking tolerance. Seeing the world through "rose colored glasses" helps a person to have more inner peace. I wonder what would happen if more people in this world, especially the world leaders, would experience some of your rose pedal jam???? Food for thought, dreamy Rimma.

@@DreamyRimma Oh my gosh! I just spoke with my wife about some of my college friends, who tonight (after about 23 years or so), decided they wanted to get back together. They started a group "text" to organize a reunion of sorts. Funny story (or maybe not)- in interest of living the "simple life" I denounced smart phones *( and texting). *I denounced smart phones around 2012 (about the time they were invented). They did not get the "memo"😂😂😂😂 I don't have a smart phone. For work (and safety, and simplicity) I keep an old flip phone. It cannot keep up with the recent messages being sent, and I am usually happy. Tonight needed more bandwidth though- Too much info. After 20 years you can't "text" fast enough. It's silly. Really though, it's a new problem. Historically, I'd just "talk" To expect to "text" 20 years of missing life into a smart phone is silly. One really needs to talk - in person. I did the UNEXPECTED- I called the people directly and SPOKE to them. 😊😊😊 We had some good chats, and came up with a place to meet up. I'm really looking forward to it. In that sense, sometimes texts (like youtube comments) aren't enough.- Enter your song. You can't type that song over an internet. It is simply beautiful. Earlier today, when I wrote, I REALLY wanted to speak to the difference between a piano note and a bowed cello note. I play guitar myself, and build them too (I've always had an affection for folk acoustic instruments)- These are where my thought's stay in happiness and a simple life. If you internet search my name and "guitar" you might even glimpse a creation or two of mine. These are the thoughts I wanted to convey, but couldn't, because the youtube comment section is only "so big". Yet your song said everything I wanted to say. But basically this- There was too much to say to my old friends via "text". It needed to be in real time voices speaking as people. Not some silly internet connection. And between us, and our peoples, there is too much to be said over youtube to be said in some "comment" section. Yet you perfectly nailed what I was thinking.! And with a perfect understanding... Please tell that cat hello! and give it all the love it's willing to accept!!!!❤❤❤❤❤

Thanks dreamy 💐 "Life is only real then, when I am." The saying "Life is only real then, when I am" suggests that life only becomes meaningful and authentic when a person is fully present and self-aware. It emphasizes the idea that true existence and experience only happen when we are conscious, actively engaged, and mindful of ourselves and our surroundings. Without this awareness, life feels disconnected or superficial. It's a call to live deliberately and recognize the importance of being truly "awake" in the moment. "And so we are."

Hello Dearest Dreamy, You sure do know how to cook some tasty and healthy dishes. You did what my mom used to do, cook healthy meals and try and pass them off as something else. She would substitute ground turkey for ground beef as an example. Turkey is leaner with less fat content. She, too, was a culinary fraudster! 😊 You wouldn't have to trick me with coffee. I'm the only one in my family that doesn't drink coffee. I rarely drink hot drinks at all, when I do, I have tea or hot cocoa. I never have tried chicory. I wonder why the doctors want you Mama to cut out coffee? My doctor has encouraged me to drink coffee in moderation. I don't drink coffee or alcohol at all. I don't take drugs or smoke either. I do like to eat some things that are not the best for me. I do take prescription medications though. Fibs or little white lies are not a bad thing, and in some cases they are a necessity. I had to lie, at times, for the sake of keeping the peace amongst friends and even family members at times. I hate when somebody asks me a question, that I know the answer to, yet I've made a promise to another not to say anything. I have never betrayed anyone's trust and I have never revealed a secret told in confidence. The bad part is, I'm a terrible liar. I have a brother that's worse than me at lying, he's a very bad poker player too.😅 When it comes to having to tell a lie, most of the time, it's to spare a friend or family members feelings. My mom always used to tell me, "What somebody doesn't know won't hurt them". I don't know if I totally agree with that that completely. I would look at my parents and wonder what "little fibs" they were telling me! 😊 I'm sure they always had my feelings and best interest in mind. I, like you, can be a fraudster for good but I hate getting caught up in the middle of a dispute. 😊 I just take my mom's advice and hope things turn out for the best and it usually does. I have never attended a movie festival but it looks interesting. I haven't really cared for movies, for the most part, here in America the last 20 or so years. Action or super hero movies that have weak plots but are full of special effects and noise. I like older movies with good actors, deep and clever plots that may have a slow build up but pays off in the end. A story line that, not only makes you feel, but also makes you think. To me, the best movies and plays are the ones you think about and reflect on long after they have ended. In the end, as long as a fib is made with good intentions, it's perfectly alright. If made to spare ones feelings, that means you care. A lie can be a very good thing if you're trying to help instead of harm. We're the "good guys" Rimma! As far as your parents are concerned, your secret is safe with me! I have never betrayed a trust and I never will. Love and hugs to you and your wonderful husband as always ❤😊-----Steve.

We have a saying similar to the one your mother used to say: " knows less, sleeps better." in some cases, this is indeed the case. I haven't been to the cinema for a long time. While I was making this video, I was thinking about it. It seemed that it was almost 15 years ago, I remember it was a film about L.N. Tolstoy "The Last Station". we came from our remote village to Ufa to watch the movie... It is symbolic, as if it was the last station of that path...and now, apparently, a new path has begun. If it wasn't for the film festival here, I wouldn't have gone to the cinema. thank you, dear Steve, your message is a meaningful movie, I am very clear about everything you describe, and I am already watching my movie about your family.My warmest still simmer hugs and lots of love❤🙌

Dear Dreamy Rimma, Can you be certain that your parents or their friends will not see your video and learn the true identity of the chicory drink? it is nice to know about the ground chicory roots. I have plenty growing all around my place so I'll have to give the drink a try. You remind me of myself when I use to go visit my parents on a long holiday weekend several times a year. My father would ask me what was new and I would go into detail about several new things happening. Then he would spend the rest of the weekend fussing about all the new things I had mentioned. Actually, he was being critical because he could always find ways that were different than what I had suggested. He had good intentions but the way he went about it only ended up causing us to disagree and fuss with each other. Finally, one visit, I told him there wasn't anything new going on and would you know it he didn't fuss one single time the entire weekend. I guess it is needless to say I never again told him of anything new that was going on. It may be a sad thing but at least the time we spent together over the weekends turned out to be a very pleasant times together while they lasted. Unfortunately, he is not alive anymore but I do have many special memories that we spent on those remaining weekends. If our intentions are good, I feel that a little white lie can be beneficial to all concerned. Thank you, young lady, for sharing another of your recipes for a healthier lifestyle. How often do they have a film festival there? The dance festival that you videoed in Ufa was a fun parade to watch.🥕💃🍽🏖🎥

Hello, Alan. Yes, you're describing Mom and me. Only we didn't duss and quarell, rather she scolded me. and since I don't want to be constantly scolded😅, and even she herself is nervous about it, I realized that it was better not to tell anything. So you found the root .... the chicory root must first be dried in a special way or fried, I do not know for sure... The film Festival is held once a year, in early September. wow,you remember that festival in Ufa. I believe that Ufa knows how to arrange beautiful shows and events at the highest level. It is Zichorienkaffee, 😊as it is called in german speaking countries. Here this is considered an "old women coffee" 😉 My old aunts would drink it while offering me real coffee. There is also a mix available with maybe 30 percent real coffee to improve the taste. I did taste it too, and consider it drinkable, but a long way from real coffee. It was common during the war years and just afterwards like from 1940 to 1947. Some people got used to it and never again wanted real coffee. I think lies can help to better live together, even when both parties know it is not true. The so-called white lies help to avoid difficult topics and bad events from the past that we suddenly don't remember. Maybe your parents know more about Armenian coffee than you think 😘
