The amount of misinformation between the comments and video is crazy. Imma do this for the community. 5 sprays can work sometimes but it can also be way to much or way too little. There is no general rule. The amount of sprays depends the the type/strength of cologne, your climate and your environment. This matters because not all colones work good in high heat and not all work well in cold weather but that’s a different conversation. In general your neck and back of your neck is the safest zone. Some fragrances may require about 3 sprays max, some may require as many as 12-15. Your environment matters because if your going to be in an enclosed space or room you don’t need as much or you will choke out everyone around you, however if you are going to be outside where it’s open air everywhere you can normally be more liberal as long as it’s not a very strong scent. It’s safe to hit the “pulse points” of your neck ( front back and sides) and wrist however where you spray should depend on your outfit , you can hit your arms, neck , chest if it’s appropriate. Should go without saying but wearing a fragrance is pointless if you aren’t properly grooming. Make sure you take a shower and moisturize your skin. Fragrances over BO smells horrible. Of there is any advice on what not do do … please never spray that shit in the air and walk through and please never spray on your wrist and rub it. Lastly fragrances can be expensive as a hobby. Just cause a bunch of ppl hype it up don’t mean you will like it. When possible go to a local store and try to smell it first before you buy it or get a decant sample. It’s lots of online stores that can get you decants of most things you wanna try. This isn’t to call out anyone or anything like that. I want everyone to have a good experience. I don’t know everything I’m always willing to learn, but I did wanna clear those matters just so people can be informed
I will never buy a designer linear JPG fragrance. Just go niche. Explore more exotic scents and keep a few mass pleasers in the collection.Parfums de Marly is a glorified designer house. Go with some Amouage, some Nasomatto or Orto Parisi. Those are art in a bottle. Spend an extra 50 bucks and get something interesting.
