Hi, i have a 7 month old with hypertonia since birth, we're waiting for that MRI. I'd like to know if hypertonia can explain that he is not growing properly, he fell several percentiles off his initial growth chart. His milestones are okay, but he's now in the 7th percentile for height and weight, and he was in the 30th percentile at birth.
Can we please have another update??? Your videos helped me so much btw god bless you! Same thing has been going on with my infant since March and he had a normal mri and is doing well
Did she have any injury at birth that you know of? I feel like my sons movements are a little shaky he is able to bend all of his limbs but sometimes looks a bit shaky to me he’s 3 weeks old I don’t know if it’s normal
Thank you so much for this video. My son had this as a baby 30+ years ago. Like you, my pediatrician failed to diagnose it. I went the whole MRI, neurologist, and physical therapy route. It was terrifying. My mother was diligent with the exercises. He grew up without any issues and went on to play hockey as a goalie for many years. Now his newborn son, my grandson, is tilting his head back in the same way. I recognized it immediately, but he is in denial and their pediatrician is oblivious. How is this possible?
Idk how you're not crying, you're very strong. I'm tearing up just watching this and thinking about all that. My baby isn't constantly tense I'm trying to see if there something similar. She gets like that she same way with both her arms and her legs but she's only two months old and it isn't constant yet I've noticed she did shake before and I also thought she was cold.
I do. I have 2 girls a year between them. It's hard work cos u wanna dress them the same an all that fun. But they hate that part. So I lose the battle every day..... I'll keep trying lol xx x love from Ireland. X x
Good lord, just do what's best for your kids. It does not damn matter what other people think as long as the kids turn out as decently adjusted individuals.
